This Is My Final Dvd Player Before I Upgrade To Bl
This is my final dvd player before I upgrade to blu-ray. But as far as this panasonic s53 player goes - blu-ray can wait a bit longer ! Of course you're not going to get the clarity of blu-ray on this, but I'm not claiming that. This is a dvd player review and as such I doubt I could get much better than this one. The first thing that struck me when I bought it way back when was the speed of the tray when it opens and closes - fastest I've witnessed which is just what you want. Loading up times are also at a minimum. What I think is about the most vital aspect of any dvd player is what format it supports. This one supports just about every format that EXISTS - DivX, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R, CD-RW, you name it. The connection is HDMI so be aware of that if you're expecting to hook it up via a SCART lead. This is all I want in a final dvd-player, and it even claims to upscale your dvds via it's HDMU, though this is hit and miss because of course not all dvds are released with fancy digitally restored and enhanced pictures.
Round all this off with a very slimline, sleek look, and you have all that you need for a final dvd player purchase, or if you never wish to bother with a blu-ray player all the more reason to purchase this player !
