I Bought The Pioneer Dv-370s Dvd Player In January
I bought the Pioneer DV-370S DVD player in January 2005. Previous to that we had been using our PS2 as a DVD player, but as I'd just bought a new Sony 26" LCD TV I didn't think a PS2 would do it justice as a DVD player.
We don't play many DVD's (maybe 1 a week), so I was looking for something better than an entry level unit with a price tag of less than £100 that MUST have a composite output for optimum video quality (and also owing to the fact that all the SCART sockets on the TV are used).
I must say the picture quality is really good, and I can't really fault it. I've used it once to look at JPG's and I didn't think the colours were quite right, and reds were a bit rich. But as that's not its real purpose I'm not too bothered.

I Strongly Agree With The Previous 2 Reviewers Of
I strongly agree with the previous 2 reviewers of this product. It's truely excellent, picture quality and sound quality are first rate this is the best player I have ever had. Wouldn't grumble about there being no scart lead, buy a good one and the picture becomes even better, plus don't worry about there being no optical output coaxial is way better. This machine plays all sorts of discs with ease. This is my baby.

Bought One A Few Weeks Ago And It's Fantastic, Was
Bought one a few weeks ago and it's fantastic, was only looking for a cheap dvd but the Pioneer DV-370S does everything, plays region 1 straight away, even plays discs I created on the PC with images on (my last one would play jpegs but not if the CDs were created on a PC) - picture quality is great, a vast improvement on my last player, sound is excellent too - had to pay a couple of pounds to get a coaxial cable so that I could get the Dolby Digital to work on my amp, but otherwise I'm over the moon!!

Just Got A Pioneer Dv-370s And So Far I'm Very Imp
Just got a Pioneer DV-370S and so far I'm very impressed. The picture quality is excellent, and if you have a Progressive Scan TV, it has PAL and NTSC Progressive Scan capability. Sound is quality as you'd expect from DD. It has Coax out but no Optical Digial out. It's very slim and looks good. Great on screen displays and Disc Navigator lets you watch a few seconds of each chapter before choosing. I'd recommend this player to anyone looking for an affordable, great quality DVD Player!
