Bought this TV in October '08 for £799. Got it home and was easy to set up. Looks stunning on the black stand and one of the best looking sets on the market right now.
Pic quality was just ok, until you fiddle with the settings then it was great. A few weeks later, I noticed my television had a strange sort of ghosting around people who were moving when a programme was set outisde, or ghosting round a ball when watching golf or football. My TV struggled with fast moving pictures.
This changed when I took it off movie mode and DNR off (dynamic noise reduction) which is only used for analogue SCART as opposed to digital or HDMI.
Got a PS3 not long after and Blu Ray blows you away with picture quality, as does Sky+ HD (also helps that Sky HD upscales SD picture also).
Would definitely reccomend this TV for the money, but if I had a spare £4,000 I'd go for a Pioneer 60".
9/10 due to slight ghosting issue on SD.
