The Philips 42pf9946 Has A Fantastic Picture Parti
The Philips 42PF9946 has a fantastic picture particuarly when you use the vga socket with an Xbox. I use a Philips surround system with it and the sound is fantastic. The TV has Dolby virtual surround sound which is also okay for most viewing.
I have this tv and the sound has just completely gone on it.. I have been on the audio menu and tried everything.. i just dont know what to do now, can any 1 help ?

I Have Bought My Philips 42pf9946 As Ex-display, A
I have bought my Philips 42PF9946 as ex-display, and it's now almost 3 years I watch it every day with no problem.
Overall is a very good plasma and should I change it for a HD tv I would consider selecting a Philips again

My Philips 42PF9946 was a very good reliable after 3 years have sold it on to get a bigger hd tv but have gone with Phillips again because we have had no problems at all with this one.

We Bought A 42" Philips Plasma Tv And It Had Const
We bought a 42" Philips plasma TV and it had constant problems. Finally it just died, and we were told that it could not be repaired. The TV lasted less than two years, and Philips will not make the part needed to fix. We were told by Philips there is nothing they can do for us. Terrible company, and terrible TVs. Do not buy a Philips TV unless you want problems.

Philips 42PF9946 - An amazing TV with everything you need. Picture is very good being clear and sharp. Sound good, however never use as I have home cinema! Good standard set of inputs I have 5 units SAT/VID/DVD/PS2/PC all fit!!!! Haven't tested PC yet!!
