Philips VR840

I bought two of Philips VR840 from Comet (on offer at £104 each) and they were a revelation set against the two 15 year old State-of-the-Art Sony's they replaced. Record -link works perfectly with both my Philips DTR1500 Freeview box and my Echostar sat receiver timers(one VCR for each receiver).

The turbo rewind will rewind a full E240 in about 3 minutes.

Word of caution.. it will show up cheap VHS tapes - you need to buy quality tapes for archive recordings if you want to realise the potential of the four recording heads.
