Somerset, Glastonbury Abbey

Great place to visit and to take a picnic whilst surrounded by some of the UK's best known icons. Glastonbury town is a bit mad but the oddities certainly help to preserve the sense of what sights and claims a medieval town may have originally offered! Try to visit the Abbey when there is an event on. Parking is easy and it makes for an interesting weekend.
