Had a lovely weekend here at the new president in July 2014 staff very friendly and most helpful couldn't do enough for you will definitely be coming back in the future food was excellent entertainment was good can't say anything negative about this hotel will be recommending it to all our friends thanks to all the staff for a wonderful holiday.

We spent a few days in Blackpool and were surprised not to find the stereotypical bucket and spade resort of yesteryear. We loved the choice of accommodation for families, singletons and businesspeople. There is a wide range of stylish hotels and guest houses, all reasonably priced for such a popular resort and we stayed at the Winter Garden Conference Hotel. Not just for the fun-loving, the town has many sports facilities with the opportunity to cycle, to swim in the waterpark which has pools and slides, to do some climbing at George Bancroft Park, the really lazy have lots of opportunities to paddle. The birthplace of the seaside holiday is surprisingly cultural, it has museums and galleries - the Grundy Art was built in 1911 -, an opera house and the opulent Empress Ballroom where major dancing competitions are held. It is a major haunt of celebrities, many of whom star in the theatre shows and is a paradise for food lovers who can choose from local duck, shrimps or hot pot to cuisine from all around the world. We found it value for money as we had our Negotiate Now discount cards with us of course which got us 20% off the cost of the hotel and the fish and chips at Harry Ramsden's.
