Well, it's a fantastic book on the history of Indian Cricket. Ramachandra Guha nicely traced the cololnial legacy of this sport: infact there are interesting episodes of contest between the British and the natives. It's fascinating to see this British Sport that's been developed into the national sport in South Asia in the course of colonial history. The sport historians and scholars must read this great work of Ram guha.
