Has More Pokemon Animation Than Other Gba Series.
Has more Pokemon animation than other gba series. Graphics are almost the same as in Leaf Green, or Fire Red. Has interesting puzzles that are needed to be solved. Has an obeying Mew that you could capture in the game by going to Faraway Island. Also includes the same islands that you could travel to, to capture Ho-oh and in this game a female Lugirda and Deoxys. Lots of Battle Towers. Both KingGroudon and Kyogre are obtainable. New unkown Pokemon unlocked in this game. Less Pokemon World than leaf Green and Fire Red series. Has only a few islands that you could travel to gameplay is faster. And Mewforest is not obtainable, only way possible is to trade from other series. I would have better time playing both Emerald and Leaf Green cause I have them both!!! But Leaf Green is my favorite pokemon version!!

Pokemon Emerald Is A Very Good Game. Would Have Be
Pokemon Emerald is a very good game. Would have been good if there was day and night and it would have been better if we can hear the Pokemon speak.

I Love Pokemon Emerald! I'm Working On My Pokedex.
I love Pokemon Emerald! I'm working on my Pokedex. It was my third Game Boy Advance game ever! I think it is the best Pokemon game. Plus you can actually see the items you buy, and it has more advancements (like Pokemon movements when seeing their summaries).

Pokemon Emerald For The Game Boy Advance Is A Bril
Pokemon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance is a brilliant game, and there are no arguments about the fun and enjoyment you can have when playing this game.
The graphics are excellent for the Game Boy Advance.
I like the fact that game lasts for a long time too.
I think you're totally right marco123. If someone looked at the time on the game that I've been playing, they would be extremely surprised. It's a really good game and you can learn alot from it too. Like pokemon moves, it'll remind you of some things. For example, synthesis reminds you of photosynthesis. I think its an awesome game.

Pokemon Has A Lot Of Bad Stigma Surrounding It But
Pokemon has a lot of bad stigma surrounding it but not all of it is deserved - yes the TV show may be bad and the card games may be bankrupting a generation of children but the games itself are amazing.
The graphics are fun and interesting, the gameplay is amazing and the premise is very addictive. You are a young adventurer just starting out in life with the dream of becoming Pokemon grand champion - you are given you're first Pokemon but from then on you are able to catch more and build up your team until you are unstoppable.
The more battles you win the stronger your Pokemon will become - as they 'level up' they also learn new attacks and sometimes even evolve (kind of like growing up into a bigger, stronger Pokemon).
If you want to you can link up with your friends and trade Pokemon and items but I have never really done that so I cant comment on how easy it is. I can tell you though that it isn't essential to the game and doesn't really detract from the experience if you never get to link up.
Pokemon Emerald isn't very different to Ruby or Sapphire - it could be described as a Directors cut almost - a few added tweaks but overall the same game - So if you already own another Pokemon game this shouldn't really be top of your wish list - However if you have never played Pokemon before this is the game for you - You will get hours of enjoyment and a real sense of satisfaction when you complete the game.
Highly, highly recommended.
