FIFA 10 (Xbox 360)

This was the landmark Fifa of recent years in my opinion. It beat pro evo superiorly and was hands down the best football game on an xbox gaming console. What I liked about it was how realistic the game of football felt, from control of the ball to awkward deflections, made the game seem realistic. The game play is slower than that of pro evo but again this isnt for everyone but is more realistic and rewards possession based build up play rather than an arcade based game.

Now, (in 2012) I think pro is closing the gap somewhat and although the new defensive system in Fifa 12 is novel, it is not for everyone and next years versions of these games will be crucial to the market overall.

Same old this game, I've played fifa since about 97 and they always say every game is a huge step forward, to be honest, I don't see it myself.

Yes graphics have improved and the gameplay has slightly, but overall theres hardly any difference year on year. This is just a cash cow really.

Fifa 10 where can i start i have been following this series sense it first came out and i have watched it grow to become a great and respectable game. This game has everything, it has awesome graphics, the gameplay gives you a whole different and unique control of your players and makes every move count. The Be-A-Pro mode is what everyone was expecting, you start making a star and you have to do different achievements in order to up his stats. There is simply lots to do and this is all without getting Xbox Live.

Xbox Live is a whole different setting it can put you in tough leagues and every match you play gets harder and harder.

Finally, Fifa has started outpeforming Pro Evolution. As a long time fan of Pro Evo, I've always avoided the Fifa series, but this version has finally converted me.

The wealth of game styles is amazing, and will keep even the most hardcore football buff coming back for a very long time. From classic mode, to management mode, to a new mode where you play as a single player in each game and are given set goals (such as your team must win, and you must head in one goal from a corner), there's simply so much to do - and that's without even plugging in to Xbox live. The graphics are fantastic too!

Finally Fifa have take the footballing crown that they truly deserve!

This game is the best game ive ever played it has awsome grafics and wicked gameplay the manager mode rocks and did i mention the fact that youre virtual pro is awesome but fifa have made the game a bit confusing so either get used to it but if youve played fifa 09 youre gonna be OK

This is one of the best football games out - i think this FIFA 10 beats the rest of the early fifa's. the controls are faster than before and theres new tricks to use when shooting and tackleing.
