Defence Grid: The Awakening

Defence Grid is a really simple idea: Use a series of towers to destroy the aliens before they take the powercores from your base.

Sounds easy right? Bit to simple?

Thats far from the truth! Its one of the most addictive and fun real time strategy games I have played!

Using the 10 different types of towers you have to make sure all different types of enemies are defeated before they make off with thsoe powercore you so desperately need to protect.

You have a small pool of resources to use which allow for the constuction of the towers and by destroying more aliens can you acquire more. It costs about 800 points on xbox live and is a great fun game.

The graphics are pretty darn good but do stay in an isometric view so I cant give it 5 stars.

Like many other games on xbox live you can download the demo for free, so give it a shot! I am so glad I did!
