Surely delicious. I experienced the Chef’s special, adopted the waiters reference , and finalized off with a pleasant ice cream dish .

Classic food, serviced in an unassuming dining room without a good deal of fuss. The produce definitely speaks for itself, and though vegans should find their choice quite limited, it's a carnivore's paradise. Multiple business-types here on a week day lunch, but the surroundings was still fairly casual.

Service plan was helpful, attentive and regarded as without being pushy or stuffy. Will beyond doubt return to try a handful of the considerably more ambitious dishes

I was recommended by a friend who lives local to The Emperor, as they always eat there or get takeaways from them. They offer a great set menu, or buffet menu where you pay £17.90 per person and select as much as you can eat from their menu. And its not a limited menu either! This is excellent value for the quality of food is not lowered. Great for parties as everyone pays the same for the food, and great to order lots of different dishes to share!(Peached king prawns and Spicy squid are so tasty, I could eat it all night!)

They do have an a la carte menu too, which is the same dishes with extra seafood dishes, but if you have the money you can side order this with the buffet menu. I was told by the manager that if there was a special occasion I could pre order lobster and scallops and they would have that fresh and live for that day! Proves great service, as the staff there are willing to go a little further. Although some staff don't speak good english, but are very friendly and very efficient. I went on a week day and it was not pack but cosy, my friend did say to book on weekends as they do get busy. Now this place is the only restaurant I visit when I'm in the area.
