Asda Cafe

Hayle Asda in Cornwall, wow.

Upon arrival we were warned they were out of bacon, in the supermarket cafe attached to the main supermarket, work that out!

Extra sausage was offered as a replacement.

We collected filthy cutlery, sat down, cleaned it and waited for breakfast. It arrived void of the bacon we knew about, also void of tomatoes and black pudding which was on the menu, but not provided.

We sat to eat the plate of sausage,beans and hash browns only to discover the beans were burned and dry, and the sausages reminded me of something found in a pyramid!

All together a learning experience, I will not be returning to Asda again.

We went to the waterlooville asda and decided to pop in for a coffee and bacon bap in their cafe.

I order a bacon roll a cappuccino and black coffee.

When the roll arrived the bottom of it only had half of the roll. I asked her to replace it which she didn't seem to please about.

I sat down at my table ready to eat and realised the bacon was cold. I went back up to ask if they could warm it up. When the lady finally acknowledged me standing there she turned to her colleague a with attitude told him to sort me out.

I work in a cafe myself and would never serve cold food and then get annoyed when they complain. It's a shame that a store like your employs rude staff like this and let them serve food that has been sitting under a heat lamp for long periods of time.

I really don't understand why they don't offer any gluten free options apart from 1 pre packed oat bar ,loads of other cafes offer a wide selection nowdays ,,so the cross contamination excuse isn't valid anymore ,they could provide a pre packed sandwich selection or a better variety of pre packed cakes

Lots of vegan and vegetarian options but sadly nothing for ceoliacs .

MINCED FISH in the fish finger sandwiches. Appalling. Is this what they think is acceptable?

What a waste of money, both me and my partner asked for an all day brunch. To our surprise our food was out 30 seconds later, the sausages and bacon had definitely been sat, it tasted like it was made last week, it was impossible to cut, if you tried to cut the bacon it would fly off your plate. The beans were cold, the chips were triple cooked but not the way you may be thinking, they were cooked a long time ago and put in the frier to heat for 30 seconds before going on our plate, each chip added a new scratch to my throat. The freshest thing on our plate was our eggs. Only 2 members of staff, dirty tables and a lot of unhappy customers sat around us. Very disappointed.

After bisiting asda cafe yesterday I felt I have to make a comment. Capuchino coffee was in a sachet ,served in a cardboard cup as there were no clean cups!! A member of staff was complaining about a customer in front of my daughter using baf language and saying she would swing for her. Not acceptable in hospitality and I think your staff need training in public service. Needles to say we will not be visiting your cafe again !!

Advertised as ultimate breakfast, half a tomato, one egg one bacon,two sausages, tablespoon of beans, half a small mushroom, two small hash browns.

Mushrooms, bacon sausages cold, egg solid yoke, toast was rock solid crusts knife wouldn't cut them. Not an ultimate, not much taste to bacon or sausages.

Over all rates 3/10, Morrison's better, quality and quantity.

Cafe clean, tidy, nice,
