Rick Stein's Cafe, Padstow

Waitress told us that the fish was not good in the winter so no choice on the menu except Plaice Goujons and Chick pea and salt Cod stew. I thought this was a load of rubbish the UK serves good fresh fish all year round.

Rick Stein's Cafe, Padstow review - As a dining experience this vist was really rather mediocre. An added annoyance was the fact that an extra bottle of wine ( £29) was added to our bill. An immediate apology was received when this was pointed out but perhaps not everyone checks their bill as carefully as we did.
