I used to order from here a lot but when I spoke to thee most difficult old man asking for a price enquiry/order and when asked to knock a pound off a large order as their competitors were cheaper, he refused saying he wouldn't take a penny off and from there onwards became increasingly rude and boasting that they were high quality food and continued to insult me and rant down the phone how bad that I had even thought of ordering elsewhere. My phone had cut out due to battery loss after a while, I phoned back several times and there was no answer and then when I went to place the order again I was quoted three different prices, more expensive, than what I was quoted before from another gentleman. When I was passed back to the rude 'gentleman', he refused to serve me and then abruptly ranted on how my custom was no good there. Even saying to the man that he should not be talking to me like so as a customer, he did not stop to listen to me and continued to aggressively rant on and on whilst insulting my custom. I will NEVER be ordering from there again and I strongly advise anyone against it.

I have been using this restaurant for many years for both takeaway and to eat in.

I can recommend them to anyone. The food is great quality, the family who work in the restaurant and run the business are friendly, honest and completely lovely.

Whenever we have something to celebrate we always consider this restaurant as one of our options and very often end up ordering from them.

I have never had a bad dish or a bad experience there. Do yourself a favor and try them our.

By far the best chinese takeaway/buffet anywhere! Authentic, traditional chinese meals cooked fresh to order, The owners are the friendliest people around, and customer care is their number one priority. Always recommended to everyone. Would not go anywhere else! Delicious!

Ive know the owners and restaurant for as long as i known.im 26 and ive been going there for probably 20 odd years. It hasnt changed much i must admit.But i love the traditional chinese style restaurant, everyone who ive ever taken there has said its the nicest chinese they have ever had.They cook everything from scratch and is always cooked to how i like it.

they are fantastic people and i would recommend it to everyone.

Best Chinese i've had...and i've tried quite a few.

People are who work there are extremely friendly and i've never tasted curry sauce better anywhere else.

I would definately recommend this restaurant to anyone i meet because i know that once they have been there they will go back again and again.

I use the mayflower as a take away and it is the best chinese iv ever had, really friendly and easy to order from!

Also there chips are REALLY nice!

this is a throw back to the 1980s and the food is as boring as the decor services was poor but then there was only 2 people in the place. Toilets are a real trial down stairs yuk

try it, you will like it.
