Starter was microwaved. Main course was bland. Staff were courteous but the man in charge very rude and unwelcoming. Credit card machine not working. Quick to take cash, no bill returned. Asian establishment in decline

We paid £25.00 for a take-a-way for 2 people expectations high. We enjoyed the popodums but the main meal was bland tasteless no coriander or salt my meal was supposed to be garlic/chilli could not taste either. The chips were a lovely extra the tikka masala sauce was like soup and the aubergine bhaji was a taste I could not distinquish -possibly soap. A dispointing meal for a bank holiday treat We will never return to this Bikashrestaurant we have been keen on Indian food for many years but have been disillusioned the peshwari nan was burnt and resembled a piece of plastic could not even eat one piece of this. The food looked amazing can't understand why no flavour come on chef......get some of your lovely spices and make this restaurant better.

I would recommend this restaurant to those who like to relax, eat excellent quality food from a vast choice of dishes on the menu and drinks at a reasonable price. This is accompanied by first class service from the staff who will bend over backwards to ensure you enjoy your meal.

Have been going to this restaurant more or less since it opened and it has progressed so much the decor food and service has just got better and better, There is so much to choose on the menu and nothing is too much trouble for them. They also do a delivery service which is spot on always deliver nice hot food by friendly people,they have even had a few celebs go there so must be good! You should always book on the weekends as they are so busy have seen people disappointed being turned away as they have been fully booked.

DON'T ORDER TAKE AWAY AT THE WEEKEND TOOK 90 MINUTES TO DELIVER AFTER ANOTHER PHONE CALL. HAD TO PUT FOOD INTO MICROWAVE TO HEAT IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will reconsider next time i want Indian, may order from Asia Spice.

There are so many Indian restaurants and take aways near where I live but we only really eat here because it is the best.

The service is friendly and prompt, you can always have a laugh with the waiters. I've eaten here in small and very large groups and the food always comes in time and all together which is important. They also never try and rush you out.

Toilets have been done up very nicely. The decor and music is great, the atmosphere is really relaxing. They even do a few English meals if someone doesn't want Indian.

No matter what you've spent, you walk out and don't care less because it was worth it!

I went to this restaurant last weekend, from outside it looked lovely, nice lighting, etc. so,first impressions, great.

My party (4 of us) had booked our table and had arrived 10 mins early and were told to wait, we were seated by the front door. This was strange as the restaurant wasn't busy, plus the fact we weren't offered drinks either.

Food not bad, waiters struggled to understand my friend who was from Norfolk!

Also, if oyu are not a football fan, avoid this restaurant as they show football on a big screen. I asked the waiter if something else could be put on but he jokingly told me he had a bet on the football match that was showing!

I've been a customer of this establishment ever since its doors opened for trade back in 1994. It has remained under the same proprietor and he and his staff always strive to exceed customer demands and expectations, and this is evidenced by the accolade of awards and nominations the restaurant has received over the years.

I'm more a takeaway client and the orders are always ready on time for collection (they do free delivery too!), they will always give you an estimated time for collection, normally never any longer than 30mins+/- for a Friday/Saturday night. The quality is very good and they use natural ingredients to recreate the authentic Indian experience in a takeaway.

Quantity is very good for what you get and is just right, not too copious that you leave heaps to waste - though nothing beats a good curry the following day!

The menu has changed a lot over the years and new dishes are always being added. I always ask for a recommendation on a dish stating what meat I want and if I prefer it dry, spicy, etc. They never fail to please!

The restaurant can be very busy at times, but what else do you expect when you have built up a solid clientele over the years! A la carte service is always courteous and prompt. I've never had to wait more than 20-25mins from ordering to receiving my first dish.

All in all, Bikash is a popular restaurant that goes from strength to strength. Quality, value and service are very good. If it's your first time you will not be disappointed! If you're a regular client, you obviously enjoy, time and time again, the great experience and food that Bikash has to offer.
