Sargeant Peppers, Burnham-On-Crouch

We visited with Friends on a Saturday evening 11th March. The restaurant was very busy which is a great sign to see a full restaurant!! You should book in advance!

The food was very good with very friendly staff. The menu has a great choice and you would definately find something that you like to your taste! The Steaks are great and so are the fahjitas!

We will definately be visiting again soon!

Actually delicious. I experienced the Chef’s special, employed the waiters suggestion , and completed off along with a spectacular soft serve dish .

Classic cookery, serviced in an unpretentious dining-room without a huge amount of fuss. The foodstuff definitely speaks for itself, and though vegetarians could possibly unearth their choice quite limited, it's a carnivore's ecstasy. A few of business-types here on a weekday the afternoon meal, but the feeling was still being fairly casual.

Internet service was welcoming, attentive and deemed without getting pushy or stuffy. Will for sure go back try a few of the considerably more daring cooking

Having recently moved to Burnham, we recently received through our door a new take out menu for Sgt Peppers a Tex-Mex American cuisine, on the back of which advertised their restaurant with a fantastic early bird deal giving 25% off Tuesday to Thursday so we thought we'd give it a try.

The restaurant is a fairly small (about 40 covers) and family run with the friendliest staff and a fabulous range of food including Steaks, Ribs, Fajitas, Pizza, Fish and more. The walls are lined with memorabilia of old time greats in music and film and the sixties music they play sets a brilliant ambiance which everyone seemed to enjoy with many other tables singing along.

My husband is a Steak fanatic and ordered a medium fillet with a pepper sauce which he said was the best steak he'd ever had which from him is high praise indeed. I had BBQ ribs which were so tender the meat fell off the bone! There is also a fantastic help yourself salad bar which is the best I’ve seen anywhere.

Whilst there we noted the restaurant is also open during to day with another comprehensive menu of really affordable and tempting dishes to be had including an American style breakfast which we are looking forward to trying next weekend.

This place is truly a find and I heartily recommend it to anyone - if you don't try it you are truly missing out on something special. Can't wait to go again and again!!!

Having a caravan in Burnham on Crouch at Rice & Cole, when the family visit we always try out the variety of restaurants that Burnham has to offer. The kids favourite when asking them where they want to eat out is always Sargaent Peppers, they love it there. The atmosphere is great and the staff are so friendly and really do make an effort with their customers. I am visiting Burnham again this weekend for the royal wedding and will be getting a take away from them tonight (the take away service is also very good). The ribs are my favourite and the pizza's are yummy too!!! Keep up the great work SP - Sylvie, Tony and Family

They tick all the boxes, clean, friendly and never had a bad meal eating in or takeaway.Perhaps you should try it out yourself!

We like to dine out occasionaly when we visit our holiday home in Burnham! The staff are Fantastic - you wouldn't find more friendly staff anywhere! The food is of high standard with plenty to choose from! The restaurant also caters well for children as you will find that many restaurants in Burnham don't! Ribs and Fajhitas are good choices to have! The restaurant also plays a variety of music that makes you just want to sing along!

Grown up in Burnham but not living there now, this is a place I come and get together with all of my friends. The food is excellent - fajitas are the best and when I ask for my special rare steak with peppercorn sauce it is always cooked to perfection! Now they have introduced the lunchtime special it is a great place to catch up. Their themed nights are second to none, really looking forward to Halloween when down next.

we went to sgt peppers for a meal after spending a day there ...we come from canvey island .

we had the lunchtime special which was so nice ,couldnt fault the food or the atmoshere plenty of it and nicely presented it is a place we will return to that is a definate,would def recommend to friends .

Excellent quality food and really friendly staff with great relaxing music.

I enjoy going to Sgt.Peppers it is the one and only place that can please everyone.

The Music selection is great and when they do special nights like Halloween they really go to town.

Great at Christmas for parties as there Wellington is the best I have ever eaten.

Sundays for lunch is fab and better than what my grtan use to make.

Friday and Saturday nights get busy so it is always best to reserve a table trust me when they are full they are full.

Serive is great and the presentation of the food is 1st Class.

They have been changing the layout recently and the changes look great.

I am planning to take my wife there on Valentines night after reading one of the other omments.
