Always Love It Here

Great food, good service.

Prices during the week can be a little steap the but the Sunday buffet is AMAZING value. Starter, Main, Side & Rice/Naan for under £15!

Will be back again and again throughout 2013.

Overall Bollywood (hertford) Was The Worst Restaur

Overall Bollywood (Hertford) was the worst restaurant experience of my life. From start to finish it was hugely disappointing. Firstly we were not allowed to sit at our table, until all our party were present. After 15 mins they gave our table away. We were told it would be a few minutes, time and time again which was a lie as we had to wait for 1 hour. We were then put on a temporary table and ignored by the waiters. We had to call them over to place orders, remind them of drinks etc. The food was pretty good, but didnt warrent the price tag. After complaining to the manager, he offered an insulting 10% discount. Avoid this place at weekends, as they cannot cope with being busy.

Very Average Indian, Dressed Up In Some Over The T

Very average indian, dressed up in some over the top decor. The meat had obviously been pre cooked and then tossed into the highly coloured sauces to order. The saag paneer was an unidentifiable concoction of stringy tasteless oily yuk!! Not recomended! When we pointed this out to the manager, he didnt really seem very bothered. Gives a very bad impression of such a wonderful fresh and varied cuisine.

I Went To Bollywood A Few Years Ago. Had A Bad Ex

I went to Bollywood a few years ago. Had a bad experience then i.e. food not up to standard, seating arrangements very poor, loud music etc.

I thought I'd give it another go (with a mate) the other night after a couple of good reviews from people I know. What a mistake we made! After a nightmare journey back from work all I wanted was to enjoy a nice curry.

I found the food to be disappointing (chicken far too dry), seating of table was in a very poor position, music still too loud, service was also disappointing. We waited 30-45 minutes for our meal, staff did not appear interested or customer focused. It seemed as though all Bollywood were interested in were numbers.

This may sound strange, but we even had to ask for our bill THREE times!! The waiter even kept the change which we asked back as they weren't going to get a tip from such a bad experience.
