Maid Marian, Edwinstowe

We have been going to maid marian restaurant for a few years. Every time we have been it has been fantastic. We mostly go for special occassions ie graduation, birthdays but every time is special. We decided to have our Christmas wedding meal at the restaurant. My daughter had taken a cake, favours and ballons as a suprise that morning. The staff were only too happy to set out all the wedding stationary on the tables. When we arrived we were completly wowed! It looked stunning.

The food is always esquiste and the staff are excellent. The menu offers a wide variety of local produce and are presented upto a Mitchellin star standard. The attention to detail is second to none and the atmosphere has a relaxed ambiarnce. The only other thing I can say is, if you havent tried it, you must go!

Maid Marian has friendly staff and lovely presentational food at a decent price. service is sometimes too quick, don't give you enough time inbetween courses.

We have gone to Maid Marian in Edwinstowe now for over 7 years and never received bad service. Neither have we ever had to send back the food or complain about the wine. Its always exceptional and very good value for what you receive. Its simply delicious.
