Mya Lacarte, Reading

I had been recommended Caversham's finest restaurant by a lot of people. Being talked into this so called 'credit crunch' I've been scared of going out and spending money of late.... however, once i tried Mya Lacarte for the first time, i have now decided to cut back on other things as this place is just fantastic. I think its fair to say that if something is offering outstanding quality and amazing atmosphere nothing will stop people going, nothing. And chatting to one of the managers on my visit to Mya Lacarte, and quickly understood why this place has the reputation it has. Everyone in this place cares so much, its so apparent. The food is simply the best I've ever had. The food is locally sourced and they have definitely not held back on quality. Now I've eaten in A LOT of places, and considering this restaurant is only a year old, its obvious that their set up in an experienced one, with plenty of knowledge and know how on operating a real stand out restaurant.

After my dinner, myself and my party went downstairs to Mya lounge, a complete surprise with a massive wow factor that just adds to the whole Mya Lacarte experience. All i can say is try this place; you will leave the place telling all your friends about it. Like i said, so many people told me about it and now i see why!

Mya Lacarte, Reading is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The menu, which changes with the seasons, is so well thought through, fresh and cooked to perfection. Mya lounge is something which has to be seen yourself. So relaxed, stylish; you feel like you're in somewhere extremely exclusive. A perfect start point for your evening. Then into the restaurant, which is on the next floor and by the end of the meal you don't want to leave. It really is that good. Try it for yourselves and you'll know what I'm talking about.

The service is second to none, and their wine list is superb.
