New Owners, New Ethos, Great Food
The new owners took over a couple of months back. What a turnaround! Great variety of excellent food, superbly friendly and attentive staff - without being obtrusive. I'm primarily a carnivore, but their vegetarian Indian Street Food is fabulous. It is no wonder that Charlie Choys (possibly to be rebranded soon) recently came first in a local paper revew of places for vegetarians to eat in Crawley. Meanwhile the meat dishes were also great with wonderful desserts. All this at £12.95/head for the Sunday evening unlimited buffet. All of the drinks prices are also reasonable.
I would recommend this to nybody. Great family-friendly atmosphere that is also fine for groups or couples. I am SO glad that my friend's dog took me past here on a walk and I decided to give it a try. I have no hesitation in recommending this to anybody andd everybody. Try it. You will want to return!

Rip-off
Went to this place on recommendation, wouldn't recommend it to my cat. Food was boring and bland, Tikka, Masala and the like, nothing at all adventurous. The Chinese section essentially consisted of some duck which looked like it had been sat in lard for a week, and some pink crackers. The Thai section was non-existant. The only dish which looked half decent was a lamb balti so I chose that, but I've had better supermarket microwave curries. To add to the insult, we went in well before 5 but because we finished our dregs meal after 5, they charged the higher evening rate. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were attentive and polite, but i'll NEVER go there again. Awful.
