The Sitar Is A Family Run Indian Restaurant Which
The Sitar is a family run Indian restaurant which serves the best food in and around Croydon, Surrey. It is located on Portland Road, South Norwood 2 minutes from Norwood Juntion rail and underground station.
Well worth stopping off on the way home from the City!!
The restaurant was redecorated in September 2010 and is now gorgeous inside. The tables are well spaced and the chairs are all comfortable.
The food is simply perfect. Chef seems to know exactly what strength you require and gets it right every time. There are lots of unusual dishes on the menu also (chef's specialities) and it's all cooked to perfection.
The staff are amazing too and will do everything possible to make your visit completely satisfying. On a recent visit, my daughter was in the middle of a phase of only drinking Princes tropical juice. The restaurant didn't have any but went to the local Co-op and bought her some!
The Sitar is by far the best Indian restaurant and take-away in the area.
