Qarma Tandoori, Leek

Fantastic place top go for a party or as a couple.Interior the best in the area the food is fresher than everywhere else and the friendliest staff in Staffordshire - what more do you need?

Only bad thing would be the size of the nan breads but this is made up but the wholesome taste of the bread that makes you savout it much more.

Been tonight for my Daughters birthday and we had an excellent night. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, The inside of Qarma is delightful ,such a beautiful place and the food is really fantastic. Will definately go again and would recommend them to the rest of my family and friends. Thanks for making my daughters night so special.

Qarma is an exceptional restaurant. I have seen this business significantly change for the better since the new proprietor (Ahamed) took over about 12 months ago. Originally the service was average but changes in personnell have shown what the proprietors expect and is simply getting better and better. The food is superb and unique. The Chef is a Star who insists on asking people if they enjoyed the food and at times has asked us to try a new dish he has been working on! It is clear that the team are passionate about the business. The old silk mill is a fantastic building and it is good to see it being used in this way.

and without doubt I would agree. The best induan food i have tasted and far superior to any other place i have been to. I would strongly recommend that you book in advance and don't be temted by discounted food anywhere else. You will not be disappointed at the price and the slight premium paid is worth it for the taste

Went here for the first time with my other half on Valentine's Day after seeing an advert in the local paper. Surprised would be the word that best described my experience. Surprised at the magnificent building, surprised at the diverse nature of the menu surprised at the really friendly welcome, surprised at the quality of the food, surprised that the chef would personally come out and ask about the food, surprised at the value for money of the food. All in all excellent!

In reply to the comment below - I too was there on New years Eve and yes I think the restaurant let itself down. However having frequented the restaurant before and since then after I know what they are capable of and what they can produce. They realised a mistake of overbooking had been made on New Years Eve due to severely high demand - a mistake that i have been promised will not be made again - looking forward to Valentine's day now which should be organised a lot better.

I visit this restaurant on new years eve and to my disappointment I was not pleased with my experience. Waiting times were too long with this my drinks were served wrong. Very slow service. Hope this improves in the future as the restaurant is very smart but the service and food lets it down.

I agree with the previous mailer - a celebrity chef indeed - who has the magic touch - combined with great service and location - the best in Leek and Staffordshire

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT FOR AN INDIAN RESTAURANT - THAT HAS THE BALANCE OF CONTEMPORARY AND TRADITIONAL SPOT ON. THE FOOD IS GREAT, THE SERVICE IS GREAT WITH THE UNIQUE TOUCH OF THE CHEF COMING OUT AND ASKING ABOUT THE MEAL - HE IS A CELEBRITY CHEF!!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with qarma tandoori restaurant. It is newly opened in Leek (Staffordshire) and is slowly increasing in trade. I have been there twice in the last 2 months and i can see a dramatic improvement in the number of people attending the restaurant - this is also confirmed by the owner. I would recommend this highly as the menu is distinct, the flavours unique and the overall night is an experience - Enjoy!
