It is a good movie, and if anyone says otherwise does not know what "Sex and the City" means . It's about women's fashion, which only we can understand the importance in our lives. Men are an accessory in this life and fashion and what we wear every day is what we represent. This is what I have understood from this movie. Indeed as a serial or any other film is not good enough as the previous one, but we must realize that not everything should amaze us ... this movie is made for me, for you and for all women in the world . So, you should definetly watch this movie, becouse is a way of living and as a woman I have to say that it's an "educational" film for women to learn how to be in a relationship and how to please a guy...so it's not a waste of time....

Nowhere near as good as the first movie. It was a terrible plot, not that i was expecting a whole lot, but it somehow lost what makes the series so great. I think that not featuring New York was a mistake, as its often referred to as the 5th character of the film. The other thing i love about Sex and the City is the fashion, however as this film had been so hyped up i had already seen all of the outfits in magazines etc. I watched the first one the other day, just to compare the two and it was miles better.

I am a die hard fan of Sex and the City. Mostly because it's filmed in New York, the love of my life, and where else would you see all its glamour than in Sex and the City. Secondly, because I envy those four ladies for their sincere friendship which is so hard to find in real life and third, yes I love designer wear and I do admire ladies who have their own money to spend over it. I haven't watched all the seasons of the TV series but I greatly enjoyed film N 1 and yeas I did enjoy film N 2 as well, labelled offensive, insensitive and inappropriate. I would take the risk and admit that I enjoyed it largely because it shows a lifestyle I bet every Sex and the City sceptic dreams of. Who wouldn't want to live in a stylish apartment in the most posh area of Manhattan, dine in fancy restaurants and drink cocktails in downtown Manhattan bars, wear expensive clothes and spend a week in a $22000 a day hotel suite in Abu Dhabi with own limo and a butler? No one! It has never meant to be a thought provoking movie, so don't expect one, although it touched some life philosophy on marriage and modern motherhood, it was vulgar but that's why it is called Sex and the City, and yes there were some offensive scenes with Samantha waving condoms in front of angry Abu Dhabi men in the local souk, which could have been omitted.

Would I recommend it? Yes, definitely! It's fun if not anything else!

I give this film four stars... not five, but four. Before I saw this I was looking forward to watching this, after collecting all six seasons on dvd, as well as the movie (which I loved) I was prepared to enjoy and fall in love with this movie as I did with the first- however, this movie is nothing like the first. One reason why I feel it wasn't half as successful was simply because a HUGE character was missing, this character being New York City, more than half of the film was in Abu Dhabi. I was greatly disappointed to see so little of my beloved city. I did enjoy it but not like I loved the first movie, there was such a feeling of the series in the first film but now it was as if I had walked into a completely different film with completely different characters, minimum use of the official soundtrack was used, again, unlike the first film. It kills me to say this but I think Sex and the City may be losing it's madness...

As I am a die-hard Sex fan I did still enjoy it and will be buying the DVD, but someone who is new to the series, I surgest either watching the first movie of the tv-series...
