In the Night Garden Live

After months of 'are we going to Night Garden Live?', the day arrived at last. In the end we had to race to get there on time...

Trafford Park, Manchester was easy to find, and a parking space quickly found. Our toddler was squealing with delight, and that didn't stop. Entry was swift, and well-organised. We found our seats near the front, and watched all the other children and parents arrive, and chat excitedly.

The purpose-made temporary dome in the car park was comfortable and ideally suited to a children's entertainment event. We had lots of space to take photos, and chat with other people. We even spotted some friends!

The start of the show was met with more squeals from the crowd, and the amazement on their faces when the characters appeared one by one.

The story was simple, and the show just long enough, as one could tell that the young crowd was getting tired, and losing interest near the end.

The exit was civilised, and not too painful on the wallet. Some people stayed behind to meet with the characters, but we headed off for a drink and snack with friends, before setting off home.
