Fun 80s Weekend

I’ve been goi g with friends to rewind south for the last 6 years , it’s brilliant people dress up , bands are really good so are the food outlets. I was really disappointed this year. Far too many people people let in really crowded at the front and not be able to get to the toilets due to people with seats being able to sit right up to the fences. Not enough loos lack of security. Drink and food prices ridiculous £40 for bottle Prosecco . Last act in the Saturday night Andy bell was a disgrace couldn’t string a sentence together was booed really disappointed.

Total Rip Off

Awful, just awful. Badly organised, car park steward even told us how prolific thieves were! Worst thieves though were the food and drink providers, cheap cash and carry rubbish sold at extortionate prices. Booked a tent with Tangerine Fields which was torn and full of the previous tenants hair. Weren't allowed into the arena area outside of chosen times so couldn't get any money from ATM, security wouldn't let my wife take water in so she could take her medication. Never going again, utter waste of money!!!!

Great Festival Rip Off Drink Prices

Attended 80s rewind north last night. Tickets pricey but great acts, however the drinks prices were extortionate and rubbish choice . Who drinks black tower wine and carling?? that was your choice at a fiver a go. My advice to anybody going

Smuggle drink in!! Having said that food was excellent and pretty good value. I would go again and risk taking our own booze.

Car parking and crowd control was a bit disorganised at the end of the night. The stewards did their best however could have been more organised.

Rewind 2014 Henley Car Park Stewards

Myself and my carer have been to Rewind festivals both Henley and scone palace Perthshire for the last 5 years but after the final act Thompson Twins this year, we hung around for approx 2hrs 30mins to let most of the traffic leave we got to our car at approx 12:45 and that's were we stayed until 01:15 like all the cars trying to get out, the stewards had no idea of what they were supposed to do particularly frustrating for them and several drivers they were allowing all cars to leave at the same time.also I am disabled and as per every year the disabled platform is not big enough please increase the size for next year 2015 The AP stewards and supervisors were all friendly and approachable nothing was to much trouble, please can you pass this comment onto AP

Many thanks

Fantastic Rewind 2011

Our first time at a festival, and it deinately won't be our last had a fabulous time, the bands were great especially Human League, Billy Ocean, Go West, Bananarama and Buck Fizz. The camp site was great the security was really good only complaint were the toilets on Monday morning were disgusting but until then they had been emptied regulary but we did leave very early so no sure if that was the reason. The atmosphere was brilliant everyone was so friendly. The drinks were very expensive and were nearly at the end of the best before which is a bit naughty, they were extremely strict about anyone taking food or alcohol into the arena. We didn't have much of the food as we took our own what we did have was ok but nothing special. I didn't give it 4 stars for overall because of the price and quality of the drinks but other than that it was fantastic and would definately recommend it.

To the person who complained about the car parking ruined their weekend needs to get a life, if you don't want to queue then leave early to avoid the rush and what do you expect when there are thousands of people leaving at the same time, to say it ruined the whole weekend is ridiculous.

The Awful Car Parking ...and Lack Of Car Parking Staff !!!

This Ruined the whole Festival for me and im sure it did for many others !!

It took 2 Hours and 30 mins to get out of the Car park it was an Utter shabbles and not for the first time this has happened either .

On entry to the Festival there were Car Park attendants every where. Then at the end of the festival there were 2 to clear a carpark of a thousand or so Cars it quiclky turned into complete chaos. No clear defined entry or exit and cars trying to join from all angles.

The Poor attendants were abused verbaly for trying to sort the mess out . I myself even helped as none of the Festival Management would commit any further staff to help the situation. In doing so was pushed by some irrate French woman for being in her way .

Most of the public in the Car park that night could clearly not see what was going on and just added to it by being impatient and frustrated by the poor management of the whole fiasco . The entire Car park situation needs to be managed properly !!!!!!!!!

Bottom line is that they are Quick enough to get us in and take our MONEY but not on seeing us on our way. There was no consideration or Customer Care for any of us festival goers on leaving the festival .. VERY POOR !!

Sorry to disagree, but we had the easiest exit from a festival ever. We left around 11am after a leisurley Breakfast. drove the car closer to the camping field so easier to load. And left without any queues.

Agreed. Gig was fantastic. Car park was horrendous.

We got lots of grief from the jumped-up stewards because we had the foresight on Sunday morning to move our car out of the rapidly deteriorating corn-field car park for camping ticket holders, into the relatively mud-free daytime parking.

In the end we decided to miss the final act to avoid the hideous exit queues, especially with a 4 hour drive back to Teesside.

Rewind Festival Henley 2011

the festival was very good but prices there were very poor could be greatly improved.

Billy Ocean was fantastic and all of the acts were pretty good. It seemed like alot of thea cts were filler though the organisers should get alot more of the more iconic and succesful bands of the 80s such as aha, duran duran and blondie to play. but it was a great weekend and the atmosphere was excelent

i found this review on facebook looks really good if youre thinkin of goin next year

great again, hope it happens again 2011. Tried glamping, not a lot better than normal camping. When will organisers learn that more showers and toilets are required. Food and drink too expensive so we walked to Henley to get a good breakfast every morning which lasted most of the day.

Lets have a big name on Friday night to start things off with a bang.

Returned For 2010 After Cracking Rewind Festival I

Returned for 2010 after cracking Rewind festival in 2009. Didn't think the line up was as strong but I was proved wrong as all the bands, except Curiosity Killed the Cat who stank, were excellent. Thought Level 42 were excellent & although I'm no great fan of Jimmy Somerville he was really good & got the whole crowd going & sounded great. Rick Astley was superb & had great interaction with the crowd who loved him. He can still really belt them out as well. Line up worked well & progressed a lot faster than last year. Festival site was a lot more crowded than before & god help you if you were camping & arrived after 8pm on Friday looking for a spot to pitch. Next year we will be there by 6pm at the latest. Toilets were not really plentiful enough for the bigger crowd but there were enough bars(£4 a bottle of beer or glass of wine was a bit steep) & food outlets.

Security was very good without being overbearing & it was another really relaxed festival with no aggro or trouble anywhere. Weather held off until late Sunday night but didn't make too much difference to a great festival. To show how friendly & easy going this festival was then we were the group in the dark green landrover that spent approx 1.5 hours on Sunday morning pulling the stranded cars out of the mud to get them to dryer ground & allow them to go home. Would you get that at other festivals?

It Was An Amazing Weekend, Took Our Kids For Their

It was an amazing weekend, took our kids for their first festival experience and they loved it too. No one has mentioned Chesney so I will, we loved him! Also though amazing acts from Heaven 17, Jimmy Somerville, Rick Astley and kid creole. The kids favorite was Bjorn again because they actually knew the music! Very disappointed with Curiosity Killed the Cats as used to be a big fan, dreadful!

I do have a couple of complaints about the camping I am afraid! Trying to find the family campsite was tough especially when you have kids in tow and lots to carry. There could be more facilities in this area also.

It was a shame that the wine ran out and I think I'm right in saying it was only Black Tower anyway, gross! Maybe a little wine bar should be established next year for us over 35's!

Will definitely be going again and may even dress up next year!
