Aomusic

Take a listen to the dense, rhythmic, deeply-layered tracks from the new album, ...AND LOVE RAGES ON!, by the world-music phenomenon AOMUSIC (aomusic.com).

Although much about AOMUSIC is unique, there are a few similarities to other groups. Many of Miriam Stockley’s vocals are layered like Enya (but instead of Gaelic, Miriam sings many wordless vocal passages). In fact, ever since the British group Adiemus exploded on the world in the mid-Nineties with their best-selling CD SONGS OF SANCTUARY followed by four additional CDs, and Stockley became known as the voice of Adiemus, probably only Enya has received more acclaim as a new age vocalist. Miriam also recorded three solo CDs before joining AOMUSIC.

Other comparisons can be made. If you like the rhythmic pieces of Afro Celt Sound System, Deep Forest, Sacred Spirit, B-Tribe, Enigma and some of the multiple-vocal numbers by Paul Schwartz, Richard Souther and Andreas Vollenweider, you will find something to like with AOMUSIC.
