I Recently Bought This Harp As I Am Just Beginning
I recently bought this harp as I am just beginning harp, but overall The Skylark is fantastic. Its Shape is mixed with the old Irish Harp yet in a way it still looks very modern and the wood is a beautiful colour! Each C and F levers and strings are coloured brightly, making it easier to see these notes. It also has a beautiful sound from each string and the power is amazing, the other thing which strikes me about this harp, is that it is quite small, making it easier to carry here and there and the case is very good, your harp wouldn't get damaged! One last thing I'd like to add is the Skylark also comes with four legs so if you seem to be bending when playin, you attach these wooden legs and your harp will then be a bigger size
I couldn't fault this harp and if your looking for a good beginner harp at good value, this is the one for you!

The Pilgrim Skylark Harp Is Good Value For Money,
The Pilgrim Skylark harp is good value for money, great learner or intermediate players harp. More affordable than many nylon 34 string imported harps. Good tension from the gut strings, strong sound for a small harp and very portable. Light and well built, good carry bag available. It's a shame levers interfere with string spacing and no colours on semitone levers.
If you want coloured semitone levers, the levers would probably have to be plastic rather than the good brass ones used by Pilgrim Harps. But if you get some red and dark blue nail varnish you can put a dot on your levers and hey presto, they are easy to locate.

Pilgrim Harps Make Really Good Harps By All Accoun
Pilgrim Harps make really good harps by all accounts and I have found that I have to agree having owed the Skylark. It has proved quite durable when travelling around and as for the sound, it is scintillating. It comes with 34 strings. Apparently it was designed around a 'no frills' approach, but this isn't really appropriate as it is a class instrument to own.
