ITVX

So yet another streaming service that mislead, to get your email "to personalise your account". Utter b/s, we all know it is to sell our email address to whoever they choose, so these 3rd parties spam us with their product (I'd use other words but you know, let play at being pc).

ITVx then get payments for these email addresses, but take no responsabilty whatsoever for the junk you will get, some of it distastesful.

ITVx are simply too dumb to realise we will just make a fake email, and use that to subscribe.

Btw, the service, if you take the risk is rubbish too, takes way too long to load, full of pop ups and ads, just like the Ch5 streaming service.

There is NO REASON at all ITVx needs your email in truth, other than commercial gain.

USE THEM AT YOUR PERIL

I tried watching programmes on-line on my phone but the reception was terrible. The programmes kept buffering and freezing, on one occasion I had to watch the entire episode from the start again as it hadn't remembered where I left off. There were also issues with login and search terms with the site being very slow and sometimes unresponsive, yet it is advertised as an absolute wonder. Contributors on another review site have agreed with my rating. Wouldn't bother with it again.
