The Armstrong's Is A Bbc Two Show That Comes On St

The Armstrong's is a BBC Two show that comes on straight after Sir Alan Sugar's The Apprentice on a Wednesday Night. The phrase TV Gold is often over-used in this country, but this program is truly the flat out funniest thing I have seen in ages.

It's a docusoap that many people see as being like The Office - the difference being that The Armstongs aren't fictional!

The run Coventry based double glazing firm U-Fit and have a motley crew of staff members who seem depeleted and de-motivated. The program centre's around the company owners John & Ann Armstrong - partners in marriage and partners in business.

The odd couple are abley supported by their de-motivated sales force, management consultant Basil and a new recruit - a world champion Othello player who was the only candidate to apply for the job.

Highlights so far have included John's world wisely analogy's, Ann's erratic and highly entertaining behaviour, loads of bad language and The Armstongs attempts to speak French. I bust a gut laughing as John pronounced every word in English whilst adding a French accent.

The great thing about this show is that they are real people and despite their shortfalls - The Armstrongs are extremely likeable and as funny as any comedian you will see anywhere. Some internet conspiracy theorists believe that it has to be a fake scripted show because it is just so good. However all the evidence suggests that this is a real program about real people.

Make sure you tune in next week where it appears that John will give the World Champion Othello player his cards!

The Armstrongs has to be seen to be believed and is definitely the funniest thing on TV. If you only watch one BBC2 business program on a Wednesday night then make sure it's this one. Sorry Sir Alan - You're Fired!!!
