What has happened to EastEnders ?

Characters were always what made it special and the old cliff hangers.

Now it's diabolical and boring, constant blackmailing, thuggery, and murder.

Terrible wooden acting from New characters that are so boring and uninteresting, simple predictable scripts

I was a fine when such great personalities were in the show..now most of them have no character with no excitement... Please revert back to the old format. When most of the characters were in weekly shows but now the story lines are dragged out while actors take time out and not appear for weeks.. which is obvious, think now the scripts are boring and predictable with no natural humor..sad to see this happening..

Please give the actors the scripts they can reveal their talent..

Why is sharon wearing that terrible wig, surely if she has to wear a wig there must be better ones out there, also the Keane murder is going on a bit longer now, and please do not keep Harry’s mum in for too long, very over the top.

The script has really declined in quality. The reiss sonia storyline is ridiculous. Who is writing this crap!?!

I just watched the recent Eastenders episode tonight and I am disgusted. There was no regard for the Bible at all. If this was any other religious text they would not have done this. I demand an explanation for this disrespect

I have watched Eastenders almost from the beginning but find that more recently I've just got it on in the background because the storylines are just diabolical. These things would not happen in real life and it is so depressing, no-one ever smiles in it. I'd be surprised if the actors weren't permanently on valium. I've made the decision to stop watching it as I'm groaning at the absurdity of it more and more often. Well done BBC you've lost a viewer!!

Boring sick and tired of seeing delinquent, init speaking kid’s and their problems

I just love it - especially Stacey and Jack. It's definitely back to being the best soap. Wish they'd wrap up the last christmas storyline though, sick of those six women.

Who.written the story line , where Whitney gets hit by a car at 28 weeks pregnant and then the day after she's up and looks exactly like she did before the accident with no marks on her, perfect make up and not in any pain at all.

What a depressing start to a Monday! I did not like this episode at all. Bianca's return, what a disappointment so old, thin and drab, what was the point of them staying around her place looking at that poor estate with those poor children. How is that support to help Whitney "get away from pressure?" TO MUCH REALITY for a soap opera, disturbing to see druggy parents not giving a damn about their kids, nor the community they living, apart from. Bianca taking the samariton role of dishing up dinners for unwanted kids, instead of doing the right thing in reporting them to social services. Whitney getting run over, awful to watch, and unjustified.

I watched just now the show of 14/2/24. WOW! I've been watching the series for the last 15 years. Usually the next day with the morning coffee. It's ok, maybe to much violence sometimes, actors changing too frequently.

The show of February 14, 2024 I just watched- the best I saw. Maybe the best you made. Very courages, touching one the most important issues everywhere - rasism. Played - fantastic by all actors that participated. That was not "soap" , that was theater on a high level.
