Where to start….

The waiters are RUDE. I came in with my little boy as we had travelled five trains and my little boy wanted a cold drink and to sit down. When we got in I asked POLITELY if we could possibly have a drink and sit for a little while and maybe order a starter. There was an aggressive, HORRIBLE nasty waiter in weird trousers that laughed with the waiters and shouted in front of the whole establishment “THIS ISNT A BAR” refusing to serve me…. After completely trying to shame me in front of most of south oxhey the boss had realised what he’s waiter had done. I started to defend myself and the waiter got right in my face pretty much screaming the boss told us to sit and drink…. It was £6.45 for 2 FLAT cokes whilst the rude intimidating waiter stood glaring at me from the bar.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR FAMILY OR CHILDREN…. They are rude and nasty and clearly have just regulars from south oxhey and don’t care about how their staff treat new customers.

I will be sharing more info all online after yesterday and will not tolerate this behaviour especially in front of my son who see the whole thing.

I have met many Indians in restaurants where they treat their customers with respect…. This isn’t a respectful establishment at all…

Disgusting, inedible.

Had like a kilo of sugar in the dishes! Even though I specifically said. “NO SUGAR”

Restaurants that don’t know how to cook will add sugar if you ask for mild.

Threw everything in the bin! And I hate wasting food!

Even the mint chutney was sweet!

Not authentic at all, trust me I know as I’m Indian!

I have a huge list of regular places I can order from which provide proper Indian and tasty food.

Have lost £40 for a rice, curry and 2 starters and 2 naans! Will be telling all local people to avoid this place!

Ordered £32.00 something take away and collected when I got home all dishes were put in the middle of the table.

Daughter found a dead fly in her pilau rice. On studying it seemed only just killed may have dropped in when packaging.

Manager came out straight away when called but only gave refund. gave £35.00 cash and waited for change. all food given back as fly put us all off.

Now go to a nicer indian in bushey

THEY HAD THE CHEEK TO CHARGE US £1.00 PER POPPADOM EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS A LARGE GROUP OF US NO DISCOUNT. PORTIONS VERY SMALL. I WENT TO A CURRY HOUSE IN CHALFONT ST PETER VERY NICE AND THEY OFFERED US A FREE DRINK AND PORTIONS WERE LARGE.

very expensive and portions could not be any smaller rice watery curry dishes not bad for flavour but i prefer the currys from iceland and will be better if u want to put weight on and not lose it

I've lived in Hertfordshire for a few years and Blue Lagoona used to be my local curry house but I soon changed! The food is very bland. I once ate in here and ordered a chicken dish to find that they had used turkey instead of chicken! I stopped going here for years as I've since found a great little curry house in Bushey but made the mistake of coming home late from work one night out of the train station, I was so hungry that I popped in here for a takeaway. I ordered another chicken dish; the chicken not very nice.

Nice friendly atmosphere with very attentive staff. The buffet nights on a Tuesday at Blue Lagoona in South Oxhey offer very good value.

What can I say about Blue Lagoona. One day the food in excellent, The next it's mediocre, ther next, you wish you'd gone else where!

I'm not sure if they chop and change kitchen staff but I keep going back in search of that great curry they I know I had from there before.

The decor is a bit dull and the staff aren't the best but if it's your local then give it a go.

They do a take-away or delivery service too (bonus).

Buffet day one day a week with an all you can eat service is good!
