When It Comes To Professional Grade Markers, I Dou
When it comes to professional grade markers, I doubt there's a brand better than Copic widely available today. I fell in love with these markers from day one. I had previously tried other high-end markers, including Prisma colors, but I was always frustrated with them. Copic markers, and Copic Sketch markers in particular, are versatile and fun to use. Instead of simply throwing out a marker once its dried up, they have refills for every single color available, as well as new nibs in case yours break (which I have never had happen after two intense years of use). There are currently 334 colors of Copic Sketch markers on sale, as well as empty markers that allow users to mix their own colors. The Japanese manufacture, Too, also puts out lots of great products to go along with their markers, including a range of papers, inking pens, and even an air-brush system. These markers take some time to get used to, as like any quality art supply, but once you do, you'll never question your decision to purchase them. The only downside I can see is the price, which is rather high. Really though, these markers are worth more than what they sell for. I would definitely encourage anyone who is serious about art and marker art in general to get Copic Sketch markers. Getting any other brand would be a disadvantage to you. If you're not sure which to buy first, I recommend the 72 color set A, that was the first one I bought, and the number of different colors was high enough to tide me over until I saved up enough for a second set. These markers are brilliant, and I'm so thankful I decided to purchase them.
