More Box Than Product

I was a avid buyer of these ribs because they were a very good product and a lot of ribs for a very good price.

Now how ever. They have turned into the worst buy!. Back when before the big `rip off`started, the ribs used to be priced @ £3.25 ish in the package that was and still is 16 inches long and the vacuum pack was and still is, 15 inches long and the contents ( the ribs) used to nearly fill the pack@ 13 inches. Now however, The outer pack is still 16 inches long, and the vacuum pack is still 15 inches long, But the contents (the ribs) are now ONLY 10 inches long and the price to buy them now is £4.35?. Not very honest buy. Is it?.

Mmmmmmmmmm Riiibbbbbssssss............

I'm a bit of a food snob.

I don't know what happened the day I put these in my basket.

Pre-cooked ribs, in pre-made sauce. Vacuum packed. From Lidl.

needless to say, I'm glad I got over these hurdles for this was a delicious learning curve.

They were even given the seal of approval from my my rib connoisseur of a sister.

No weird unidentifiable ingredients. Just sticky, oozy goodness. Microwave (again, you have to just get over this bit, it's just right even though it feels wrong) for a couple of minutes in the vacuum bag, then remove and chuck on the BBQ for a charred, sticky treat which tastes far better than it should considering you've made no effort whatsoever.

They can be a little small but they sure are meaty. A pack makes four people happy as part of a barbie spread, or two greedy people with an oven very happy with no charcoal required.

Also, they're 2.99. For a full rack. You're welcome.
