RHS Show Tatton Park

Was unlucky to go on a very wet day,so this didn't help I must admit.However having been many times before we found the amount of show gardens was very poor and disappointing. The layout was confusing and hard to negotiate. Food prices were extortionate and as an older person the lack of seating areas was difficult. Also the exit road was appalling, we feared for our suspension, potholes all the way and unavoidable. I have had some lovely days at Tatton, We enjoyed our day, despite the downside, but may think twice before going again

As a previous exhibitor,I was totally underwhelmed by my visit to the 2022 Tatton Flower Show.

Lack of show gardens and show features of any great merit.

It seemed just like an exhibition of trade stands and exorbitantly priced food outlets.

The floral marquee was really good however.

This used to be a premium event to rival Chelsea but not anymore....standards have really dropped and it was not worth the entry fee.

In addition,the layout was poor and trying to navigate by the on site notice boards was difficult....maybe a ploy to purchase the £7 guide?

Tatton is a lovely NT property and past visits to the flower show always a treat but I am afraid this year was disappointing.

Very few show gardens and none of them outstanding; cool and spacious floral marquee but the displays were average; lots of small floral exhibits but again no wow factor.More like a local village flower show.

Took a picnic but had to queue for tea at £3 for a tea bag in a paper cup!

Excellent RHS volunteers saved the day!

And the Fruit and Veg competition tent was delightful.

Value for money poor.

Loved going to Tatton but this year there was a lack of show gardens. This made the entrance fee expensive for what was just looking at pop ups shops . I will not be going again . Also it took an hour once arriving to park the car. Not worth the money.

This was my first visit to an RHS flower show and based on my experience today at Tatton Park Flower Show, it will be my last. The whole event seemed badly organised, there was at least a five-mile tailback to get into the car park, and once we were inside the event, there was a lack of seating and long queues for food and drink, the only restaurant we found required pre-booking. The show gardens were limited; the floral display tents were better and there were a varied array of stalls selling all manner of things. We stayed for under two hours and left very disappointed.

Tatton park flower show is amazing and te garden display is beautiful. It was expensive too to visit the garden.

The flower shows were costly, reflecting the position of Cheshire collection. The flowers and gardens were pretty wonderful.

We had a really lovely day out at Tatton Park flower show. The displays are amazing. It is quite expensive but if you go on the last afternoon you get cheaper tickets and can buy the flowers at the end. Shame about the weather but that is manchester for you! Would definitely go again!

Tatton located to the south of Manchester is the nearest RHS show to us, if we go again I think we will set off the night before, it took so long to get into the place.

There is a lot to see if you enjoy your gardening, beware of trolleys carrying plants attacking you.

The toilets were ok, as usual not enough for the ladies. We went to a garden centre en route, to pysche ourselves up first before braving the maddenning crowd
