DanZ Spas Sure Spa

Do not use this company. We brought a hot tub less than a year ago (even ordering was a nightmare I should of realised then!) We are having a nightmare with Danz. We have major problems with ouR £4000 hot tub and have contacted Danz 2 weeks ago and they will not call us and just ignore calls and emails, they are impossible to get hold off. They use China shells and the quality is rubbish. the md seemS to be the sales guy, after sales infact everything. DO NOT GET CAUGHT OUT WITH THIS COMPANY, WE WILL BE TAKING THEM TO COURT!

I took delivery of a £4500 Danz Spa last August and within a few weeks it developed a major problem with the 'waterfall' feature that makes it unusable. I have been trying to get them to fix this for the last SEVEN MONTHS without any success or useful response from them.

I seriously believe they are fobbing me off until the point in time when the guarantee runs out. I keep being promised action 'within a few weeks' but if I don't see an engineer to fix this permanently and properly within the next fortnight I will be demanding they collect the entire spa and additional accessories and provide me with a full refund. I am so disappointed and disgusted with this that I will pursue this through the courts if necessary.

There are plenty of suppliers of these products out there. When spending that kind of money I would definitely expect a vastly better service.

The spa is 'pretty' with a lot of features but how many people know how to properly maintain the vast number of components that can and do go wrong, or, have access to the (very) proprietary spare parts?

Have had too many issues from day of ordering to consider anything above a 1 star rating:

Hot tub turns up months late after a promise that it was on the next shipment. I appreciate that shipping can be out of the control of the vendor but to order in April and receive in July was a little excessive.

When it did arrive the hot tub had parts that were clearly already used. The base was even wrong colour and Danz's response was to send an engineer around to paint over the base. Additionally the hot tub and packaging was wetabd there were parts that has fallen off internally.

When it was working the base started filling up to which I was advised to "drill a hole in the base to release the water"

Additionally there was a strange pulsing action when all pumps and blowers activated which was probably explained by the Circuit board failure. The tun then started to short when the daily filter cycling leading to yet another call-out under warranty by Spafix (who are really good) to replace both heaters that has filed with water!!!

To add to the problems I have had to take 4 separate days off work in the past two months to wait for the warranty repairs to be completed. On two occasions Danz have failed to send the correct parts and even now, after the engineer has confirmed that the 4 parts sent are all incompatible, I will need additional time off.

Although the prices are good the components are of low quality and should be expected to break. I will never go "cheap" again as the service reflects the price

Danz were incredibly helpful right up until the point where I placed and order and parted with my money. From that moment on my hot tub delivery has been a disaster with 3 seperate delays incurred. Each time reassurances were made that there would be no more delays but more keep occuring. The original 10-12 week delivery time has become 21 weeks!

I have had to chase countless times as the customer service team show little to no interest in contacting me, keeping me informed or keeping me happy. I have made a special plea to them to improve their communication but dispite this things have not improved.

The actual hot tub i'm sure will be fine... but the horrendous customer service and rediculously delayed delivery time has soured what should be an exciting time.

Do not order from Danz. Their prices are good but you understand why when you are the victim of their unprofessional, immature, slap dash approach to business and customer service.

We wanted to write and thank the helpful team at DANZ as we live in the south of France and the service and help we have had, has been extraordinary.

We bought our Utimate SPA 5 years ago and never had a problem until this year when we needed a spare part.

Although we had been dreading this inevitable moment when a part needs changing and although it was far more complicated as we had to do everything over the phone and call for each question on technical help, the technicians were so patient and so helpful that we got everything done and the spa brand new again!

We feel it is important to tell people about this as our Ultimate Spa is wonderful and we wanted to tell everyone who is lucky enough to own one that Danz gives the very best after sales service which is so important and which we only know after the spa is bought!

My initial concern, as with many people, was buying a hot tub from an online seller without seeing it first. However, after speaking to them I had no such concerns. They organised everything from the tub being built to crane hire to have it placed in my back garden as I have access difficulties due to a railway line behind my home. The quality of the spa is superb, the water heats quickly, sound quality from the speakers is great when I plug my iPod in. Would recommend Danz to anybody, much better service than when I enquired with Blue Whale.

I purchased a sure spa 2in november 2012, it was delivered within a week, leigh at Danz has been extremely helpful and concerned with our satisfaction , this is my second hot tub following a house move , and although the connection and usage of the tub is very new i am very impressed by the build quality, and the variations to the programming for what is a reasonably priced spa, it is not overly large but more than adequate for our needs .

We ordered a spa back in October but did'nt want to take delivery until December when our garden would be ready. Danz were fantastic - they were more than happy to arrange delivery when it suited us best.

The Hot Tub arrived a week before Christmas and we are thrilled with our purchase. It was very easy getting the tub delivered into position and we were able to fill the tub with water and add the chemicals with ease. This tub is Fantastic value for money.

Danz were a great company to deal with - I would highly recommend.

After purchase Danz have phoned a number of times to make sure that we are happy and that all is going well - Make's you feel like a valued customer.

We spend most weekends in the tub, it's a great way to relax and un-wind.

Best purchase we have ever made!

I bought a Sure 2 Spa in January 2012, for delivery in February 2012. I really needed it for my wife's birthday on 19th Feb, and although the 3 week delivery meant I wasn't actually entitled to recieve it before the 24th February, the team at DanZ were more than helpful...

They arranged for it to be delivered on the 16th February, meaning I had time to arrange an electrician to hook it up prior to the birthday party.

DanZ contacted me several times prior to delivery to confirm the exact time and date of delivery (narrowing it down to a two hour slot). It arrived earlier than expected and (having paid £100 for placement) the two guys on the van were really helpful in removing all the packaging and placing the tub exactly where I wanted it in the garden.

The tub itself is better that expected, and it came with a water proof remote, which is actually really helpful as it saves you thumbing at the display with wet hands.

After the electrician had hooked it up, I used the Aux In co-axel connections to connect an iPod/iPhone dock, which works well with the built in speakers.

The Sure 2 Spa is one of the cheaper tubs, but is 100% value for money!.. Although it is only a 4 seater, there are two additional shelves which can be sat on and there is plenty of leg room. The jets are powerful and each seat has a different layout of jets, massaging different parts of your back. There is also a valve to isolate the jets to just one side of the spa (handy if there is only two of you in, or only two fancy the jsts), this makes the jets even more powerful and is easy to slide on and off.

The control panel is really easy to use and is finished in a nice brushed steel look.

After delivery DanZ staff contacted me twice just to check the delievery went ok and that everything was up to standard.

I would recommend this company, and this spa to all my friends!... And as a bonus (not advertised), if you recommend a friend who then buys a tub, DanZ pay you £150!

I am very pleased with my Danz Sunset Spa. This is my second hot tub. The last was a Dimension One, Arena (about three time the price). Having used both I feel the Danz tub is as good if not better based on the first 8 months of use. I have not had to call Danz out yet but with the Dimension One I had three call outs in as many years; and some were quite serious.

I have to say that Danz were slow on the delivery, but having spoken to Daniel on many occasions I am pleased that I stayed with the order. He gave me every opportunity to cancel the order but I could not find any other tub of the same quality for the same price.

I have no regrets, I would recommend the Danz Sunset Spar to anybody.
