Do Not Buy
Poor quality, shoddy parts, unreliable. Would not buy another one, After light use, the brake has failed twice. Feel ripped off and disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone.

Buy A Stihl
After 2 trips to the shop, this POS is next to impossible to start, no make that impossible to start.
fresh gas, fuel saver, cleaned spark plugs etc.
I cannot believe anyone has one of these that actually work and Husqvarna should give everyone their money back.

Bad Purchase/bad Product
Owned the Husk 235e for about 8 months. Like other folks with the same start/hot engine problem --- once started and after running hot for about 10 minutes and you stop it. You can't get it started again until it is totally cold. This is not convenient when you have a block of time set aside to do a job and it takes 6X times longer to complete! Because it was purchased online from an out-of-state dealer (to try to save a couple of bucks), the local dealers want to charge a shop fee to make any/all adjustments. They have told me (local dealers) that there had been prtoblems with the carb adjustment. "" It's just not worth it."" At the same time of this purchase --- I went to one of the Box Stores and purchased a Homelite 14"saw (made in china item) and this thing runs with NO problems. Just goes to show ya --- Brand Name items aren't anygood and not worth it! The 235e is total JUNK!!!

Husqvarna 235e Will Not Stay Running And Needs Repaired
I bought a Husqvarna 235e because I needed a small chainsaw around the property. Out of the box it would not stay running for more than 5 minutes. Once the engine was warm it would not start. Took it to an authorized dealer and was charged for a carbuetor adjustment. Used it to trim limbs and cut down a few trees. It stops running after about 15 minutes and will not start until after sitting for hours. It has been to the shop 4 times, each with a carbuetor adjustment or rebuild. I borrowed my brother's Stihl chainsaw, it kept running until I got hot, not when it got hot.

Great Chainsaw
I purchased this chainsaw after having a Homelite 16" electric die after 10 minutes of use. The Husqvarna 235e started properly according to the starting instructions. I was able to stop and restart the chainsaw as needed during my work. I couldn't ask for a better chainsaw. It's light weight, vibration free, quiet, and cuts through an eight in log with ease.

I Would Agree With Almost Everything Others Have S
I would agree with almost everything others have said about this saw, it is a complete waste of money lots of critical parts are plastic and prone to breaking , like the chain tensioning screw and the chain lock mech , both of which have broken , and aren't covered in warranty! everytime I pick up this saw to use it something else goes wrong , am ditching it to get a Stihl !
Please please please do not buy this saw it's pants

A Total Pos, Stay Away. I Am A Retired Pro Power E
A total POS, stay away. I am a retired pro power equipment mechanic. Had a friend bring me one of these about a year old with low (10-20) hours. There were serious intake leaks making it run lean. I fixed that, it worked for a while and now the carb is flooding & needs a kit. As soon as it runs again it is getting sold or traded in.
It is a very lightly built saw, and with the CA emissions stuff and tiny CCs, it's not very powerful. You also need a special tool to adjust the carb. My own saws are Husky & Johnsred, but I wouldn't have this saw if I won it in a contest. Harsh? Yes, but apt. It is not a good saw.
