Stihl MS290

Bought this little saw on sale about 15 years ago, added a 20 in. bar and chain for firewood cutting. Somewhat underpowered, but adequate for my needs. Never failed to start and get to work. Stihl has impressed me!

Ive use my 290 to fell and buck larger trees. With a 3/8 non-safety chain and 18” bar it cuts though eaven the hardest wood. Ive used the pro saws too and this 290 does well in wood.

great saw for cutting up fire wood or fallen trees ,Easy starts have mine 2 yrs ,and still flying ..

Only disadvantage is ,it is a bit heavy.
