Works For Me
Not 100% sure this is the same product but I bought a Gardenline Scarifier and lawn rake (From Aldi, Bexhill) during spring 2015. Used it sparingly last year but during winter used the rake as a small electric tiller for a flower bed. Worked it hard and it broke up the soil nicely - probably not an appropriate use but it worked.
Spent 3 - 4 hours scarifying largish lawn over BH weekend. No issues with the quality of the work and I am pleased with result. But why oh why is the collecting box so small? I had to empty it at the end of each line. Had to use an old dustbin at one end and compost heap at the other. Can not believe how much moss and thatch was removed.
No real complaints at all.

Who Designed This Machine, and Tested It.
This machine lasted approx two cuts,ofF the lawn, The belts snapped. NOT UNDER GUARANTEE.aldi store in Warrington informed me. I purchased new belts ,off the INTERNET, belts fine, but the cam pully worn away.
My friends machine, belts snapped, I gave him my belts, we decided to share machines, his metal spikes fell off. A TOTAL DISASTER. We have given up on these two machines. So both machines with a terrible build quality.

Gardenline Strimmer?????
I am furious that Trading Standards have allowed the sale of this Product, it constantly every 20 seconds keeps snapping off, but I would not mind that so much, if it actually trimmed the edge of my lawn, all it did was cut into my lawn with lacerations, I WARN ANYONE THINKING OFF BUYING THIS DEVICE TO think again, pay a little extra for one, it will work out much cheaper in the end,
I would not spit on Gardenline products, they are a con, and I was taken for a mug!
Where ever I can I am going to repost this review, everywhere this device is advertised, it makes me feel better, as the alternative would be to smash it against a brick wall with full force!!!!!

Gardenline Gvm 600; The Biggest Load Of Junk I've
Gardenline GVM 600; the biggest load of junk I've ever bought. Belt snapped within an hour of first using it. Anyway, found a company called Motion Industries, based in Lancashire, who supplied me two replacement belts for £16, inc P+P. I had the Gardenline working again within two days :-). The belts must be better quality as I've used it for hours now without a problem.

I Would Agree With Most People Does Seem The Belt
I would agree with most people does seem the belt is a bit suspect to say the least, I did however find a company called Bearing Boys who sell spare ones for £2.50 each so not a big outlay and at this cost you can afford to go through a couple
Q&A
How do you change the blades on scarifier?
