Badly Made Rubbish
Only used mine a few times without problems for the first year, just after the guarentee ran out the pump head split dumping out water from inside the unit.A new part was bought and this was fixed, then 3 months later the motor went which made it scrap. This is the worst piece of tat i have ever had the misfortune to buy £100 down the drain, NEVER AGAIN.

Oh Dear. I Genuinely Believed That I Was Buying A
Oh dear. I genuinely believed that I was buying a quality brand with Karcher. Well known name, sold everywhere, parts easy to source, seems like the ideal thing, right? WRONG WRONG WRONG! I bought my first Karcher to replace a cheapo Halford's special that had suddenly ceased to function. I wasted over £100 on a Karcher K3.99MB before that too suddenly gave up the ghost. I'm not a 'power user' (pardon the pun), instead using it for general household jobs, ie cleaning the patio/decking/drive/cars etc. It lasted until about 2 weeks outside the warranty (does it have an internal warranty expiration timer??) before it suddenly sprung a leak through the vent, lost power and then finally gave up altogether. I decided to take a look inside the case and was shocked to see that nearly (if not all) the components were plastic. I could have had it repaired, but what's the point? I'm sorely disappointed with my only brush with Karcher and will not be returning to the brand. If I could give my Karcher a minus score, I would.

I Am On My Second Karcher In Three Year's And This
I am on my second Karcher in three year's and this one has now broken, always after the warranty runs out! I bought this washer to jet my decking of which I have quite alot. Let's say the pressure of this machine is so bad it takes me two days to do it all. I am now looking at the Stihl washers, more expensive but, judging from the reviews, will last alot longer.

This Is The Second Karcher Washer I Have Had. The
This is the second Karcher washer I have had. The first was changed in six months under warranty. The second will cost nearly as much to repair as it would to buy a new one. The pump head is made of plastic and is probably what will go. Has on mine. When you talk to the customer service, though they are only call handling centre, they will insist they know its malfunctioned due to frost damage. There authorised repairer tells me that only the industrial ones are worth buying. The one I have now is 18 months old and has had 90 minutes use. Just scrap now.
I recommend not to buy a karcher jet/pressure washer.
Now I know I will ask, what are the main components made of. IE, Pump. If plastic don't buy.
I Brought One Of These In August 2007 And Have Use
I brought one of these in August 2007 and have used it about ten times before it sprung a leak - spurting water through the vent.
This was to replace an older Karcher 630 washer which went the same way - and looking at reviews elsehwere clearly a Karcher feature!
Karcher seem dis-interest offering to sell me a re-engineered model to replace it - probably one of the many returned???
Nilfisk do a 2 year warranty (C120 being similar to the K3), Karcher just a year.
Karcher appears to work on their reputation aa the products seem to have a life just passing the warranty period so you buy more. I would suggest you look carefully at other makers before going for a Karcher
