Rotary Brush

Used the jet wash quite a few times, very satisfactory. One question though, how do you use the rotary brush without being on your hands and knees ?If you hold it normally it doesnt lie flat on the surface you are trying to clean.

Don't Waste Your Money

I brought this pressure washer last year and maybe used it twice before storing it for the winter . I recently got it out to clean the car and it's gone to the dogs there is a leak in the metal pipe line not good when using an extension cord . Unfixable

The attachment are not easily removable in fact they are near impossible to remove at all. Please don't waste your money .

The Only Downside To These Is, Try And Get Hold Of

The only downside to these is, try and get hold of the company when it needs repairing, I asked Homebase, then the RAC who directed me to Hilka, phoned their number loads of time, and got through eventually, was told as it was not under guarantee it would be better to buy a new one, and find a repairer in the Yellow pages.

Purchased The Rac-hp04 In February 2010, Used Abou

Purchased the RAC-HP04 in February 2010, used about 6 times before storing in November over winter (Frost Free). Removed from storage March 2011, connected water hose & water continually dumped from internal valve beside of motor. Having no success in stoping the flow of water I contacted the help line stated in the user manual (Hilka 02083916767) a complete waste of time. They informed me that they do not supply internal parts or recommend a suitable repairer. When asked why they would not or could not recommend a repairer, their reply was that if the repairer failed to make any satisfactory repair, then Hilka could be held responsible. They did give me an RAC number to phone but this was a premium number (£1.00 per min) & not wanting to spend this amount of money on a phone call I tried the internet.

I then looked on the RAC site to find out if anyone would be able to help, sadly I could only find the RAC accessory shop (No Telephone number just an e-mail enquiry address. Used this address, stated the problem & asked for a contact number to enable me to speak with someone. I then recieved an e-mail from Hilka (The same person that I had spoken with in the first place) asking me to contact them as they had received my enquiry from RAC.

I have now spoken with Hilka again (The same person as before) who advised me to purchase another pressure washer.

I will certainly purchase another washer but not one associated with RAC or Hilka. I wish I had looked at the reviews prior to purchase, it would have saved me a lot of time & money. I would not have given this product any stars for value for money or for an overall rating unfortunately you have to give at least the minimum one.

My advise to any one is AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Looking To Get A Replacement Washer. I Had Got One

Looking to get a replacement washer. I had got one of these a while back.Argos, cheap but a complete waste of money. It kept tipping over because the hose daftly is mounted on top of what is already a top heavy machine. Fortunately for me it broke down at the 2nd attempt while the receipt was still in my wallet. Needless to say I took it right back.

I bought a Lidl Lavor, which is another waste of money. It has a hose on a reel which has a handle to reel the hose in. The hose is not exactly a piece of wire. The cleaning ability is useless, but it is still working. Waiting for it to break down so I can bin it.

Bought The 1850 Watt Model From Homebase. It Had B

Bought the 1850 watt model from Homebase. It had been reduced £20 and there was a further 15% off. I previously owned a more exspensive washer and find this model to be very good. the pressure was strong enough to clean concrete and block paving and it comes with a good range of attachments for cleaning the car. Good value and does what it says.

Used This For The First Time Today. The Machine St

Used this for the first time today. The machine started to leak water from inside of it, obviously not a good thing to combine with an electric motor. Basically it is a disgrace that a product that can obviously cause serious harm is sold in this state. I would not recommend that any one buys this product unless they have a death wish.

Q&A

Steve_H1948

I have had my pressure washer for about three years and it has rarely been used. When I came to use it this year after about 30 mins the connection hose came off and on inspection I discovered that the thread on the connection point had broken. Is there anywhere in the UK that can supply this part?

Junna

I have an rac pressure washer and no instructions. Please can you tell me how to get soap through the washer?
