I Had A Really Complicated Bath And Shower Room To
I had a really complicated bath and shower room to put in and was very pleased with Aquabrand's professional advice and service. Not only were their prices cheaper than most but the advice given saved me a lot of time and worry. I have now used them on three occasions and got a great service each time. It is also nice to see a company sell only good quality products like those from Hansgrohe. I can certainly recommend them and Aquabrand.

Good Prices, And They Don't Sell The Imported Stuf
Good prices, and they don't sell the imported stuff, like some others do. Know about the products, and delivery times were spot on. I was let down by another (nameless) company. Five stars to Aquabrand, would buy again from them.
Buying shower equipment can be a damn minefield especially if you've got low pressure plumbing. Aquabrand were brilliant.

Best Prices I've Found. Know What They're Talking
Best prices I've found. Know what they're talking about. Saved me a lot of money by telling me about the stuff I didn't actually need. Two other companies tried to sell me a shower solution. When I discussed it with aquabrand I reduced my budget by nearly £200. Can't recommend them enough.
You won't find better. At the very least, they know what they are talking about.

I Was Searching For Hansgrohe Showers, And This Re
I was searching for Hansgrohe showers, and this review came up. I must say that I disagree with the lady above regarding the service. I had to telephone Aquabrand a couple of times, because I was a little unsure about whether the showerpipe would be suitable for my current plumbing set-up - turned out that it was fine. They did know what they were talking about.
The shower turned up on time as well, looks fab and works brilliantly.

We Purchased Some Pillar Unions From The Aquabrand
We purchased some Pillar Unions from the Aquabrand Bathrooms website for our shower mixer. Initially it seemed that they had been the answer to our problems as we needed a bath mounted shower mixer, not a wall mounted one.
They use a third party for payments, and the money came out of our bank account straight away. However, we did not receive notification from Aquabrand about whether they had received our order. The first time we tried to contact them the phone just rang and rang. The second day that we tried to contact them and the phone was engaged for over 3 hours!?!
We still had not received any notification as to the status of our order.
The next day we emailed them to find out if the order was on the way etc. No reply was received regarding that email.
Yesterday we received our delivery (direct from the supplier). Luckily I was at home to sign for the goods, as we had no idea when they were going to be delivered.
We have since tried fitting them to the shower mixer and woe and behold, the 'universal' pillar unions are not universal. They don't fit our mixer unit.
Would we use Aquabrand again? In a nutshell, no!
I was so surprised and shocked to see this review, though I have come to
realise over the years that some things just cannot be rationalised. We are
used to getting testimonials at Aquabrand but they are complimentary of our
service, such as "Thank you very much for your excellent professionalism in
dealing with my Hansgrohe orders this year" and "I am yet again surprised at
the amazing service your company/you offer". In the last 3 years, I am aware
of only one other customer who has been so negative of our service. Having
dealt with thousands of customers and clients, I can happily say that the
vast majority of people in our society appear to be polite, good-natured and
good-humoured, understanding of other's problems, and generally people that
you would describe as easy to get along with.
In reference to the order made by the customer who wrote this revue is
concerned, which I have researched, the order was made on the 2nd July,
which was a Sunday. The product was in stock with Hansgrohe and therefore,
at the time, took 5-7 working days for delivery. An email from the customer
was received on the following Saturday, asking, "Please could you advise how
this order is proceeding. I have not received any confirmation from
yourselves, however I have received a transaction confirmation from
Worldpay." Our phone lines are not open on Saturday or Sunday so I presume
that the customer tried to phone us on this weekend, and therefore I pass on
my apologies to them. However, a phone call would have been made to the
customer on the Monday in response to their email request, to advise them of
how the order was proceeding. By this time the goods would have arrived with
the customer and this would have been confirmed by phone before we let the
enquiry drop.
As far as the delivery is concerned we state the following very clearly:
Please read delivery note below before proceeding to checkout.

Delivery:
Please note that you must be in to sign for the goods you have ordered on
delivery. The couriers will usually phone prior to delivery on the phone
number you provide. Orders usually take 5-7 working days, if in stock. If
you are not in when delivery is made, a card will be left with a number to
ring to arrange a further delivery. The couriers have a difficult job to do,
and we would ask you to be understanding and polite to them in all
communications. If you have any complaint or issue other than arranging a
second delivery time, please email or telephone us on 0870 743 0917, and not
the courier company. Thank you.
As far as the Pillar Unions not fitting is concerned:
The customer seems to have created the word Universal within the description
of the Pillar Unions. We have never sold Universal Pillar Unions and the
extensive information on one of these products as an example is as follows
(PLEASE NOTE THE STATEMENT "FOR HANSGROHE BATH/SHOWER MIXERS):
Pillar Unions for mounting Hansgrohe bath/shower mixers onto bath rim to fit
150mm hole centres. Bath rim holes need to accommodate 0.5" pipes. Unions
will cover up to 47mm diameter holes.
Please note: Maximum bath rim thickness: 30mm.
Colour: Chrome
Length: 30mm horizontally from bath rim hole centre to water outlet.
Height: 70mm from bath rim to centre of water outlet.

Aquabrand is the only company in the industry and one of the only companies
online, that actively has an online information honesty policy. This
requires our staff to provide as much information as possible when putting
products on our website, so that the user does not buy a product by mistake.
This is how Aquabrand manages to keep an almost perfect 100% record for
non-returns. We talk to countless people who order from us having bought
from other suppliers discovering, as an example, that they have only bought
half the product they require, because by not including the concealed part,
the product appears cheaper than on other retailers sites.
We have received no further communication from this particular since the
product was delivered with regard to it not fitting. Of course, if we had,
we would have done everything in our power to resolve it to the customers
satisfaction.
