We had been told that the waiting time for a replacement door handle for our brand new stove would be 5 to 7 weeks. We had searched the internet and tried numerous spare part center's including the manufacturer of the stove itself.

I then found The stove Place on-line and thought I would give them a try. I was told the same that there was a 5 to 7 week lead time for the part. The chap at the Stove Place then asked how long had I had the stove when I told him less than a week he said "leave it with me I'll see what I can do". 2 hours later I got a call from the same guy saying he had found me a door handle and I could have it within 2 to 3 days.

3 days later we were sat round a lovely warm log fire thanks to The Stove Place and the staff there.

We recently purchased a Broseley Serrano 5 SE stove. I noticed the nut that holds on the latch for the door was a little loose, so I thought I'll just tighten that a little but didn't realize my own strength and over tightened it and snapped the screw part off this meant I couldn't lock the door and more importantly couldn't use the brand new stove we had just installed.

I quickly looked on line for Broseley spare parts and phoned the manufacture directly, they had the part i needed but were out of stock and didn't expect any new stock in for 5 to 7 weeks.

I was gutted so I thought OK maybe other stove spare center's may have a handle.I phoned numerous stove pare shops but were told the same. So I phoned The Stove Place in Bradford explained my predicament to one of the chaps there and he said let me en quire about the part and I'll get back to you. Not lang after I received a call back saying they had just spoke to Broseley and told me exactly what Broseley told me. Gutted it looked like I was going to have to wait at least 5 weeks till we could use the stove again. The chap from The Stove Place asked me how long had I had the stove so I told him less than a week. He said leave it with me and i'll see what I can do. 2 hours passed and the phoned rang, it was the chap again from The Stove Place he said I've got good news, now I'm not sure how or where he got the part I needed but that certainly made my day when he said it's on it's way and should take 2 to 3 day's to reach you.

Thanks to The Stove Place the family sat round a cosy fire again.
