My fabric faded so badly it lost almost all its colour in under 6 months. The company would not refund me. They said they don't guarantee their fabric as light fast. How on earth can this be suitable for curtain fabric?!!!!!!

We had bad fading after only 2 years of the fabric being on our furniture. The product description did not state it was only safe for daylight (not sunlight). As compensation we were offered to have the same fabric send again, a contribution to repair the damage was refused (which actually would have been cheaper than sending the fabric again).

Beautiful and enticing array of linens advertised online (a bit confusing as to whether the company is Ada & Ina or Linenfabrics.co.uk, or both). But the real problems start if you want to buy something. First, ordered swatches take several weeks to arrive - so long that the fabric you choose has likely gone out of stock by the time you're ready to order, so you're forced to begin the whole swatch process again with a different lot of linens on the website. This happened to me, twice. Something also to bear in mind is that the colours on the website are startlingly different from the actual swatches, necessitating more too-ing and fro-ing. Another issue is that no-one at Ada & Ina answers the phone or responds to emails, which makes communication somewhat problematic. After a couple of months of painfully slow too-ing and fro-ing with the swatch issue, I chose a linen that was indicated on Ada & Ina's website as being in plentiful supply. I decided to have the curtains made by a third party, who ordered the fabric direct from Ada & Ina. The turnaround time for the curtains was quoted as four weeks. After three weeks the curtain-makers called me to say that after waiting three weeks for the ordered fabric to arrive they had just been informed that Ada & Ina had run out of stock of the fabric, and didn't know when it would be available again. So that was almost three months of wasted time and a huge amount of frustration and disappointment. I find myself amazed that this company is still in business, when it seems to have not the least idea how to organise its stock, provide online pictures of its product that are reasonable colour likenesses, send out samples in a timely manner, respond to customer enquiries, or honour its pre-paid orders. I'd avoid buying from Ada & Ina, unless you have a lot of time and patience, and are very forgiving of poor business practice and customer service.

Ordered two roman blinds. Arrived promptly, their P&P to Switzerland was fair. The fact that they send abroad is great - most companies making blinds won't. Very pleased with the fabric range and just love the blinds! Very nicely made. Definitely recommend.

(It's a shame btw that the review slating Ada & Ina on this site is from someone who doesn't understand why the duvet cover corners are open. Hmmmm.)

Bought a double fitted bed sheet which was so big it would have fitted my bed twice over. Duvet cover was ok, not sure why there were two holes at top either side of duvet. Pillowcases were the worst issue. We're supposed to be 50×75cm but were almost 10cm too long by 5cm too wide. Had thrown away packaging presuming they'd fit so couldn't return. Fabric was nice but the sizes were so badly off I'm now left with an expensive alteration bill. Not a happy bunny. DOUBLE CHECK SIZES BEFORE THROWING PACKAGING. Won't be using again as sizing are completely unreliable.

I have been so impressed by the level of service and products received with this company. It is good old fashioned customer care wrapped up with quality products. I keep adding more bits to my linen collection because they are just fab. I started with two Quilted throws and now have pillowcases with frills (highly recommended) plain pillowcases, scatter Cushions and I am about to order more frills and a duvet cover. I was advised on fabric matches and textures when purchasing and it made a huge difference as my room now looks like a room straight out of homes & gardens . Reasonably priced luxury that you know has been created with love.

The curtains arrived yesterday and we are delighted with them! So good quality and well finished details. The fabric quality is that beyond my expectations - so lovely natural linen! I ordered samples from other websites too and the similar fabrics where about 2 times more expensive on all the other websites I found. I will be placing orders for other rooms soon. What a fantastic Service. Many thanks again!

Bought a large amount of their fabric few months ago; then wanted 1.5m more for another project (with another order for 16m pending on this). Complained about £7.99 P&P for the 1.5m and got no reply - so won't buy!

Ada & Ina delivered curtains with a long delay. After a few months I wanted to have them dry cleaned only to discover that fabric is coming out of the eyelets. Photos have been sent to customer support, but was informed that owners are travelling. Still have not received a reply. Poor quality workmanship and customer care, very disappointed.

I ordered a curtain over a month ago, it has still not arrived.

Very poor communication by email too.

I would never use this company again.
