Well Done Fareham Staff (park Gate)
Fareham Branch closed today and leading up to closure the store was tremendously busy. It became both a physically demanding job, (moving vast quantities of furniture and soft furnishing) for the staff as well as being in constant demand from the public under extreme circumstances. From my observations, having popped in several times, every single one of the staff worked flat out until the door closed with courtesy and grace. I wish them every success in the future as they were a credit to the store.
A well wisher.
Useless
I bought a roller blind last week in the Paul Simon store Orpington Way worth only £7.99 for my elderly mother, of which I realised when I got back to her home 1 hour later was too small for her window. This blind wasn't taken out of the box at all. I returned to the shop a couple of hours later asking them to change it for a larger size (of which I would also be paying them an extra £5 for) and they would not change it, as they were in administration and had no means of doing so.
How can they sell this to a customer in the first place then?!!
The staff were absolutely useless and couldn't be bothered (probably demoralised in losing their jobs) ... all they could say was to call their administration line. There was no customer service at all.
Thankyou goodness I only bought a blind, can you imagine if you bought larger expensive objects ... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PAUL SIMON!!!
You have to understand that it was not paul simon who are saying no exchange or refund it is the administrators Deloitte who dictate this , if our company were still trading exchange would not be an issue

Where's My Money??????????
I bought curtains on the 20th March online. As they still hadn't arrived by early April I telephoned. A helpful lady told me that they were still waiting for a certain size to come in, we agreed that sending them after the 16th April would be better for all round. Now it's 25th April, still no curtains, I rang the telephone number that was now out of order and I was put through to an operator. The operator tells me that this company is now in liquidation but I can still pick up my curtains from the shop. I told her this wouldn't be possible as I bought them online, she then told me to go to their website. There is no website of that name. Very angry.

Worse Ever Service, Don't Waste Your Money
Just a quick overview...
I ordered a wardrobe and chest of drawers from their Watford branch. When the furniture arrived, it was damaged and scuffed with splashes all over it. I called then and told them of the problem, they let me know a 3rd party company deals with the furniture and I had to call them about it.
The other company was totally unprofessional and did nothing regarding replacing the furniture so I contacted Paul Simon head office. They were just as useless as the 3rd party company so I told them I wanted a refund as nothing was being done about the furniture and I hadn't even been given an apology. They never bothered to respond to numerous emails, just sent a standard letter refusing to give me a refund just telling me I have to accept the chest of drawers.
I have received a refund from my credit card company luckily but Paul Simon are refusing to collect their faulty furniture so I am still fighting with them 3 months on.
Warning: Do not part with hard earned cash with this company. You will regret it if anything goes wrong as their customer service is absolutely terrible.

Absolutely Bloody Awful
I won't bore you all with the saga of my curtain experience with Paul Simon., just never ever enter into the Harlow branch.
The manager ok until things go wrong - you then see the nasty and aggressive side, great customer service NOT.
Curtains ordered 2013, disaster from start to finish as curtains made incorrectly, it is now Feb 2104 and after many many attempts to get the curtains right, they have managed finally to do so. Shoddy workmanship, no apology given, dreadful dreadful customer service.

Appauling Curtains And Customer Service
Just took delivery of an order of curtains - they went straight back! The two curtains were different lengths, the horizontal striped pattern in the curtains didn't match and one corner was puckered due to the poor workmanship. When I went back to the shop, there was no apology offered or even any regret of the above. All I got was that "we didn't make them".
I am not sure about that but one thing I am sure about is that I am never going back to Paul Simon again.

Vinyl Fitting Disappointing
We recently had two bathrooms fitted with vinyl flooring via the Wimbledon branch of Paul Simon. The manager in the store was very helpful at the time, but after the vinyl was fitted I did not like the clear silicone which had been put around the edges. I was not at home at the time of the fitting (my husband was, but did not notice what they had used)...so I phoned up the local branch and said I would have preferred white silicone as I'd only ever had white before whenever vinyl has been fitted in a bathroom. I do not like the shiny wet look of the clear stuff and it does not 'finish' the edges of the flooring as adequately as the white silicone. I was told that the fitter was 'doing us a favour' and it wasn't part of his brief to silicone the edges anyway. I wish he'd just left it alone in which case, as it's a nightmare trying to get the stuff up again. I asked if the fitter could come back and remove the silicone as I was having trouble removing it, but we were told there would be a call-out fee. I pointed out that we needed to get the rest of the flat carpeted and we were planning to ask Paul Simon to do the job, but they didn't seem interested in helping out - even though we would have spent a lot of money with them. I am very disappointed that they could have rectified the problem quickly and easily, but chose to take the view that we should be grateful we had it done in the first place...even if it was not what we wanted. I will not be using them again, and will look around other local firms to buy my carpet from.

Worst Quality In The World!!
Paid too much for the worst curtain in the world. The quality is so bad!!!! The header is stretching even though I have the correct number of hooks. All I can say is DO NOT BUY curtains from these people!! 1 star is too much for this product. I feel robbed.

Beds, Carpet And Curtains
I bought a Millbrook Bed from the Colindale Branch. Excellent Service and after sales service. I have also bought carpet and curtains from the same store. Have received excellent service from the management and staff of the Colindale branch. I would certainly continue shopping at this store for my household requirements. Would also happily recommend it to all my friends and relatives.

Great Customer Service
I have recently had new carpet fitted in by them. The price was very competitive and received first class service. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
They called me well in advance to inform me the date and time when the fitters would come in. On the day of fitting, I received a call when they were 30 mins away.
The fitters were very professional and friendly guys who did a fantastic job. They cleared all the rubbish after the new carpet was put in.
The staff at Colindale branch called me to ensure I was happy with the job.
Overall, I am happy with the price, first class service and clear communication!
