We Have Just Had Shutters Fitted In Our Kitchen, B
We have just had shutters fitted in our kitchen,
beautifully fitted, a wonderful job, when fitting our lounge & bedroom.
We also had our conservatory
Fitted with shutters by Hillary's not a patch on Shuttercraft by a long way.
Again thank you boys keep it up.

Very Disappointed.
Firstly, a man came round to my flat to measure up and and give me a quote.
He was very helpful and could tell he really knew the product inside out and had some great ideas for the type of installation I required.
I'd had another quote off another firm which came out pretty much exactly the same, but decided to use the man we'd seens as I liked him and was confident he'd do a great job.
On August 3rd 2017 I payed the 50% up front to which the lead time was 10 weeks
The man then came to fit the shutters on October 20th
He gave me a call at the end of the day to tell me that he'd fitted 4 out of the 6 shutters as 2 of the shutters he'd ordered were the wrong size.
He held his hand up and admitted he pressed the wrong button when ordering.
He informed me that to cut the lead time from 10 weeks to 3 weeks the second time round he'd get them flown over instead of being shipped over.
I excepted this as of corse everyone makes mistakes from time to time we're all human!
However 3 weeks on I txt him twice 8th and 9th November ( first time he ignored ) asking if he was coming to finish the job
He eventually txt back saying because it's coming by air it couldnt be tracked till it had shown it'd been dispatched then it would be with him 2.5 days after that date.
I then txt him on 22nd November, then the 28th november to which I had no response
It was now the 10th December and still hadn't had any response
I'd tired ringing him at least 15 times by now to which I either get the answering machine
Or the secretary would pick up and not be able to assure me that he'd ring me back! Only to say I can ask him but a can't guarentee it!?
I then tried ringing him off my mums phone ( so he wouldn't know the number ) at 7pm on the 12th December
he then picked up and had no excuse but just kept on apologising for ignoring my calls then said he didn't have my phone number ... !!!! Okay.
I said to him I couldn't believe the way he'd treated me when it was him that messed up the least he could do was pick his fone up or ring me back.
He towards the end of the conversation then said that the shutters couldn't be flown over and as they're too big therefore there coming by ship which is why they were taking so long!
He said they would be delivered December the 18th 9 weeks on from the original install.
I then txt him on the 21st Dec 22nd Dec 23rd Dec and now we're back to the silent treatment!
I've even rung his phone many times and still he won't pick up.
So 20! weeks on and still have an uncompleted job.

So Many Shutter Suppliers So Where Does One Begin?
We wanted shutters rather than curtains or blinds in our bedroom but had no recommendations to go on. Decided to look online for Hertfordshire firms so we could get a quote and survey. The man who came to measure was so professional and as it turned out his whole approach was first class, from quote to fitting. We strongly recommend Shuttercraft.
