No Instructions Included

Blinds are standard. Neither amazing or good. No instructions included in the package. Was estimated to be dispatched day after order. Received it two weeks later. So prob not dispatched day after.

To obtain instructions was like doing a quiz show. Aka difficult to obtain. Like it was v precious to wooden blinds direct. Would not recommend as took longer than promised to arrive and had no instructions included

Misleading Website - Blinds Are Plastic Not Wooden

Misleading website, suggests you are buying real wooden blinds but actually they are cheap plastic. Would not accept returns. Read the website very carefully and don't expect anything in the way of customer service

Not Good For Customer Service

I am still waiting for my wooden blinds after three weeks. Wooden Blinds Direct took 2 weeks to fulfil my order which was thne supposed to be delivered by Parcelforce however the boxes were delivered with ripped boxes as if they had been thrown around and mistreated.

Wooden Blinds Direct sent an email to tell me that the items were on their way and I attempted to track the packages. However, Parcelforce claimed that they came to deliver and I wasn't in and that they left a card (which they didn't). After sepeaking to Wooden Blinds Direct to tell them they spoke with Parcelforce and said it would be deliverd the following day and I waited but no delivery. I spoke to Wooden Blinds Direct and was given another day for deliver and again waiting but no delivery!!!

Wooden Blinds Direct Customer Service which is poorly staffed gave little confidence that they had done anything apart from attempt to pacify me and my complaint.

A week after the first attempt the packages arrive however the boxes were ripped at both ends and some aluminium blinds in another cardboard package was ripped and hanging off. I rightly refused to accept the packages.

I complainted to Wooden Blinds Direct and recieved a very bland standardise email - addressed to "Dear Customer". I have made a written complaint to the company but they are yet to resolve the issue. Very poor customer service.

Horror Lost My Money

Ordered online money was taken in seconds then got no e-mail no order number 9 days later after several phone calls got wrong blinds plus 1 of these was damaged told to watch a video of how to fix this and no it's not wrong order u gave us wrong sizes wasted £500 on this junk avoid at all costs call centre said not disagreeing it's bad service but we are so busy we can't cope not prepared to do any thing about it but if I reorder and spend another 500 I can have 25 per cent off complete joke

Delays, No Communication And Poor Colour Description!!!!!!

Wooden-Blinds-Direct - Ordered 13/03/'07 and received finally on 23/05/'07 ! Out of stock, sent to the wrong address with absolutely no communication. The venetian blinds ordered in the 'White' gallery is more of a grey/green and the company couldn't care. I personally will NOT be ordering from this company again, be warned! (ps. this is my first ever negative review).

No Stock Available - Rubbish

So I ordered a total of 5 white blinds on Sunday and paid for next day delivery. I fully understood that I probably wouldn't receive the blinds on Monday due to the late order on Sunday. However, on Tuesday, the day of the supposed delivery,I received an e-mail (not even a courtesy phone call) informing me that the blinds I had ordered were not in stock and that perhaps I might choose another colour. I then phoned and agreed another colour with the customer service advisor and he said that he would confirm that this was ok by e-mail later, and that I would now receive my blinds on Thursday. That evening I checked my e-mails again only to find that the company couldn't provide the second choice blinds either, but enquired as to whether I would like to choose a different colour.

I phoned WBD the following day and spoke to a representative who was very dismissive of the situation saying things such as (these things happen) and so on an so forth.

It would of been good to know stock levels at the time of ordering and before money had been exchanged. I have asked for a refund and I am now told that it could take up to 5 days for my money to be returned. If like me you are using WBD for the quick delivery service, then think again. I wish I had stuck to my original plan and used Blinds 2 go who were longer on the delivery but from previous experience much more reliable.

The exact same thing just happened to me. No phone call just a lousy email. Annoying things is I had placed the order over the phone and everything was A-OK.

8 days later I call for an update on my blinds and was told they're in production. Lady was very dismissive to and quite arrogant which gave me a bad gut feeling.

3 days later I receive the email saying they are discontinued!!

Terrible Customer Service. Avoid.

Awful service. The item I ordered on next-day dispatch was actually dispatched 3 days later and although I had to pay for delivery it was sent by Yodel on 'any time next day', which meant I had to have someone stay at my home from 8am to 6pm. When I called to query the situation and complain I had a terrible customer service person (I don't think she'd every had any training) with an arrogant and bored sounding voice blame me for complaining. When I finally spoke to a supervisor she was, if anything, worse than the first one who wouldn't handle a complaint over the phone, constantly talked over me and would only answer that I had to 'put my complaint in writing' as it was their policy. I've cancelled the item and will never use the company again; however good the product their customer service is dreadful - avoid the company like the plague.

Terrible Customer Service

I purchased some blinds over a month ago and one of them were fault and would not open or close. I took pictures as requested and sent them to customer services. Over a month later they still have not resolved this and keep writing "we are chasing supplier and will contact you when we get a response". I dealt directly with wooden blinds so expect them to resolve this within a timely manner. Would not recommend to my enemy.

Late, Ridiculous Service And Only Responding To Legal Action

I ordered a set of shutters from shutter direct in Jan. which are another Interior Goods Direct Limited company. These shutters were finally, after several complaints over the long waiting time and a confirmed delivery date of 8 May 2015, delivered around mid May 2015.

I have spent numerous hours in the waiting line of their customer service trying to contact their staff via telephone. Together with emails I have complained about the defective product and tried to get a product in line with my order:

•May 2015: Initial complaint about production issue as evidenced by wrong size of one of the 4 shutter elements

•May 2015: Response from Customer Services Dept. asking for measurements and images

•June 2015: Email to Customer Services Dept., providing all requested measurements as well as photos of the issue

•June 2015: Attempted follow up via email read by unnamed Customer Services Dept. Employee – no Response

•June 2015: Attempted follow up with named individual via email – no response

•June 2015: Attempted follow up with named individual via email – no response

•July 2015: Call with another Service agent, promising to ensure named individual calls me back - no call back since then

•Sept 2015: Final letter before Legal Action - and lastly (!) a response and promise to pick Shutters up - no email or phone number on response letter

•Oct 2015: Proposed pick up dates not responded to, no pickup, no contact

•Oct 2015: Legal action

If you want to save yourselves the time and a poorly manufactured product choose a reliable firm. Customer Service Department can hardly be described as service oriented and customer friendly and all their promises on the internet will never be held.

Dont Bother

if you want to order a blind be charged for it,but it doesn't arrive,if you want to wait in all day then the courier arrives without your order,then promises to redeliver later that day and doesn't ,if you want customer relations dept to be rude and tell you to wait in the next day,and for the blind not to arrive again,then I whole hearterly recommend this company.Of course if you actually want a blind don't bother with this company
