Forever The Best
I'm still using my late mothers high dome bought in 1966 of course the safety valve and pressure ring have been renewed, but for making stock from the remains of Sunday lunch roast chicken you cant beat it, takes just 45 mins, chill then freeze the stock for a soup base later in the week.

The Best Pressure Cooker
The Prestige Hi Dome Pressure Cooker is fantastic value for money and has by far been the best Pressure cooker I have ever used / purchased.
The simplistic design ensures it will go almost anywhere in your kitchen. I have been using this brand for many years with my other kitchen utencils, as the brand has always been good quality.
I have not found any other type of pressure cooker that cooks the way I need it too, hence my recommendation to everyone who wants a reliable and well built pressure cooker.
All I need to do now is Train my children to use it,

My Mother Used A Prestige Hidome In The 60s And 70
My mother used a Prestige Hidome in the 60s and 70s and I have used one with unfailingly superb results since 1984. They are simplicity itself to use, won't explode, save you money, retain the food's goodness. I couldn't survive without it. Other designs overcomplicate the principle of pressure cooking.

I Have Just Purchased A 5l High Dome Pressure Cook
I have just purchased a 5L High Dome pressure cooker and am really dissapointed that nowhere did it say that I would not be able to make sponge puddings for a family because I needed the 6L SIZE. With no one to ask this question as it was bought at an Argos store and nothing mentioned in the instructions I feel very annoyed, an cannot afford to purchase another model. As I have used it for making chicken and vegetable soup I know that I will not be able to return it.

I Have Used One Since 1967 And It Must Have Saved
I have used one since 1967 and it must have saved me thousands in cutting down cooking times of notoriously tough meat and other long-cooking foods, ie stews and steaks and steamed puddings.
After a kettle its my most important kitchen item.

I Had To Get A New Pressure Cooker, And Could Only
I had to get a new pressure cooker, and could only get a flat top prestige pressure cooker, though it was stainless steel. No longer has three weights, so limits cooking. Shame. Also, very basic cooking instructions would not have encouraged me to buy the product. Seems that pressure cookers are harder to find now, possibly because they are not "marketed" like some of the other cooking options. Prestige should be doing more, as very energy efficient way of cooking. I live in New Zealand.
