Best Cooking Appliances In The Household
I have struggle to buy this pressure cooker and have think it over n over again the pros n cons as I have quote few pieces of cookware n pots in the house (bought by my mother in law). Finally just two weeks ago I hv made my mind on the wmf pressure cooker. I hv not look bk since the day I use it. The meat was so tender and it takes less than 15 min to made stew yet is more tastier than the pot n earthware tat I have. It was the best ever cooking was nvr easier soup was made no more than 20 min compare to my usual 3 hrs of brewing. Save me a lot of gas n cooking time.

Well Engineered
Bought a WMF as I needed a pressure cooker that would work on an induction hob. Have previously used Prestige aluminum ones. First thing that strikes you about the WMF is how well made it is. The handle completely detaches form the lid for ease of cleaning - a very good idea. There are no separate weights to add to the lid as was the case with the Prestige. There's a safety lock on the handle to prevent accidental opening of the WMF when under pressure although I don't know how anyone would manage to force open the unit when it's under pressure.
Using the WMF is simplicity itself. When pressure starts to build up, there's a pressure sensor that rises to indicate the process. The WMF is pretty silent in operation compared to the old ones that hissed loudly and, after a few minutes, very irritatingly.
WMF is a high quality brand - hence the price. If you want a well designed, well made pressure cooker, the WMF fits the bill and should last a life time.
Hi, I purchased Perfect Plus 2 days ago, and used it today the first time. When the pressure built inside the pot, the pot became noisy as an old steam ship leaving the port. The noise was loud and continuous I could barely stand it, can you help and tell me what may be the problem. Can anybody help.

I Am Having Problems With My Wmf Perfect Plus Pres
I am having problems with my WMF Perfect Plus Pressure Cooker.
When the cooking pressure indicator has fully disappeared in to the handle, according to the instructions the pressure should have gone down, and therefore, should be able to open the handle and, at first I had no problems with this,as soon as the pressure indicator disappeared I could open the pressure when used on full pressure. But recently I couldn't get it open even after leaving it for many hours. Now I think the Pressure cooker is very good, it cooks pefectly, I have been back to the shop and they are very helpful, they have already changed one handle and that was O.K. for a time, but the same thing is happening again, I really want to keep it because it cooks beautifully, but you shouldn't problems when the pressure is down. I managed to open it eventually, but I had a real struggle, has anybody else come accross this problem. I had a pressure cooker for years so I know how to use one. Mrs J Levy.

I've Owned A Few Pressure Cookers Throughout The Y
I've owned a few pressure cookers throughout the years and the WMF Perfect Plus is without a doubt my favorite. It is the best engineered cooker for both reliability and ease of use right down to the pressure release...I can't answer why the other review is so negative does the lid or seal area on the pot have a dent is the gasket in good shape, by the way those gaskets are readily available on the WWW. if you can write that review you can have a gasket delivered to you in just a couple days. So before you run a quality product down you should find the problem first!!! I do wish they would release a 12 quart model...
I would recommend this to anyone who buys quality...

I Am Having Problems With The Seal On My Wmf Perfe
I am having problems with the seal on my WMF Perfect Plus Pressure Cooker and steam is leaking around the outside of the pot and its only two years old. So now it does not work at all.
If you type their name into Google you will find their site which seems to list spare parts. Depending on what part you need you might find it cheaper elsewhere e.g. eBay or maybe, if it is just two years old, with a little gentle presuasion they will replace the "faulty" part under warranty...
