I waited 8 months foolishly believing the stories I was being emailed about manufacturing issues.

I was able to have my card company issue a reversal of payment - Thank God.

Maybe once there was a very nice company called William Turner, but whoever set up this website is not it.

We have had a set of silver plated William Turner cutlery for our wedding. It is absolutely beautiful and looks amazing on our dining table. The hand made cabinet that it came with is also top quality - we love it !!

W M Turner may have a history as a cutlery maker but this is not them. This company was set up in 2014. Not based in Sheffield but Bodmin. The Sheffield phone number is just a front. They say everything is specially made to order but that’s to make you give them time, before you realise you’ve been duped and if you paid by credit card you have get a refund through their fraud department.

A Sheffield company with a head office in Cornwall should be your first red flag

I am very upset with this company. Their website let you order cultlery online, which I did on the 24th of September. After almost 2 months of waiting I tried calling the company, many times, but never the phone was answered. I wrote several emails, and just got one short email saying that they were very busy but that my order was going to be sent in a week. Now another month has gone by and no cutlery. They never pick up the phone or answer their emails. Don’t buy from this company, you will loose your money!!!

We ordered some items. 7 months ago. Nothing came. Now no one answers the phone or returns emails. Can one of you start police action? These guys are like criminals!!

we paid over £350 in early June for cutlery - they don't reply to emails and NEVER answer their phone. they responded to a facebook post I made middle of July, promising they would send the cutlery - now it's the end of August - nothing and they no longer reply to facebook posts either. DO NOT SEND THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

These people took my parents money after my parents purchased a set of knives through their website. Nothing was every received. That was 5 months ago. They are all promises and "we've been very busy, it's coming" but you never receive anything. And now silence - they don't respond to emails or phone calls. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Hopefully my parents can get a refund on their credit card but it does not look good as it has been so long.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. My husband ordered me a cutlery set costing £1500 it took 8 weeks to be delivered instead of 4, when it arrived the knives were faulty and of a different quality to the rest of the items. I managed to speak to someone via messenger after I gave up on someone answering the phone. He said we could return it for a full refund, so I packed it all up in original packaging took photo's and he had it collected from me via parcel force. that was 4 weeks ago, I have been promised that they will refund the money 4 times and yet it still hasn't arrived even though they have confirmed they have the cutlery back! we now have to go to the hassle of taking them to the small claims court. Thank goodness I kept all correspondence.

Gave up waiting for delivery and for responses to emails or for someone to pick up the phone. Promised delivery in 4 weeks. 9 weeks after order i was still waiting, despite being told my order had been dispatched, but unable to provide proof or tracking details. Don't waste your time
